Product Manager, Digital Subscriptions

Responsibilities include:

• Overall responsibility of the growth of the ToI Community, our reader-supported subscription group
• Plan and project manage special content for the ToI Community
• Produce and manage communication with the ToI Community and with our general readership to encourage ToI Community growth
• Manage customer support and churn reduction
• Data reporting and surveys of ToI Community

Requirements:

• Experience in online product management; experience with consumer subscription products, including product development, customer acquisition, retention and customer journey a plus
• Experience in user-centered design and data-driven product decision-making
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Outstanding web worker; can learn new online services and tools quickly
• Excellent communication skills in English; strong Hebrew a plus
• Design and video editing experience a plus
• Self-starter who can take projects from inception to completion independently
• Strong interest and knowledge of online news media
• Identification with The Times of Israel’s journalistic principles and mission

Breaking News Editor

The Times of Israel seeks Breaking News Editors to join our breaking news team.

• Journalism background and/or previous work in a news environment required.
• The position requires a period of training, followed by work in the Jerusalem office or at home.
• The position requires excellent writing skills, mother-tongue English and fluent Hebrew.
