"We like to use local companies when we can. Mikeâ s company,The Junk Medic, had good reviews so we decided to go with him. Mike and his crew were very professional and friendly the whole time (6+ hours) they were working in my dadâ s home to remove 44 years + of stuff. It took 2 truckloads and they worked in the dark during the second trip. Not only did they remove miscellaneous items from the basement, they hauled out the following, too: 1 old refrigerator, an upright freezer and 2 chest freezers. Plus, a treadmill, old kitchen cabinets, stationary bike, oversized metal shelving and 12-compartment metal cabinets. They removed a few items from the main floor also. They even swept out the basement when the were finished which was a welcomed surprise. Mike had to take down a door, railing and post in order to remove the big appliances and put them back like they were when they finished. The quote for the job was more than reasonable. In fact, he underestimated how long it would take to do the job but stood by the quote he gave. I would HIGHLY recommend The Junk Medic!"

"We didn't simply need to have some things hauled. We had to clear the entire contents of my fathers home, after he moved into an assisted living facility. Mr. Allen and his team executed quickly and as planned. This was a highly difficult job, that even included emptying a difficult to reach attic. Further, we had no idea of the volume of contents my dad had accumulated over the years!! Mr. Allen and his team cleared 3 40-yard dumpsters from his home in just over a day. That included furniture, appliances, emptying cabinets, closets and more! We couldn't hardly believe how hard and efficiently the crew of three men worked!!! We were very, very impressed. I would not hesitate to contact Mr. Allen again. I would most definitely recommend this company to anyone needing this type of service. "I called SMD tree service and got a fair and honest bid right away. The owner of the company spent time with us walking around the property with us explaining what his people could do. The workers showed up the next day just before 8 A.M. like they said they would with a large crew of exceptionally hard workers. They cut down 5 trees (2 were very very large), removed 4 twenty year old bushes raked up the grass, ground out stumps and branches and hauled everything away. They were very polite, worked so fast and were great in every way. I would highly recommend them and when my next tree needs cutting I will call them back."
