"I recently hired Texas Vargas Electrical based on the reviews I read here on HomeAdvisor.com. When all the flooding rain came through Cypress, ours was the only home in Fairfield whose power could not be restored. It was Memorial Day Weekend and electricians were pretty unresponsive. Louis came immediately on Friday to restore our power, but warned us that it would go out again in the next storm because the main breaker was loose. Knowing that, along with some other info about the box that I won't go into detail about, we asked Louis to submit a quote to completely install an upgraded breaker box and bring it up to code. His pricing was wonderfully competitive and the work looks amazing. On a side note, Louis heard me talking about a plumber who said I needed to replace my 2-year-old water heater because they "no longer make the pilot switch for it." Louis's exact words were: "I think someone is taking you for a ride. Call the plumbing supplier I use and ask if they carry the part." Turned out, they do still manufacture the part and Rheem sent it to us for free! I had the opportunity to stop the plumber at the door and tell him to return the new water heater. :-) Thank you, Louis! You saved me $1000!!! Texas Vargas Electrical is one of those rare electricians you can trust. He's my new go-to for everything electrical in our home."

"I called Carriere HVAC - Electric, Mike was there the very next morning and submitted a proposal to replace our 13 year old overhead lights in my office building with LED lights. He was able to start work within two days. He was professional and very courteous. Some of the light fixtures required rebuilding and this was no challenge for Mike. "My exterior outlets stopped working after Hurricane Harvey blew heavy rain against the back of my house. Rain pounded heavily on my back electrical outlet that did not have an updated cover to protect it from the weather. I did not want to just press the reset button; I wanted to make sure that the exterior outlets did not sustain damage and needed to be replaced. Josh arrived a little early which is always a good sign for me, he listened to my concerns, he tested all exterior outlets before and after I finally located and pressed the hidden reset button in my garage. I told him I wanted protective covers on my outlets, the ones that was installed when the house was built just were outdated and did not offer the protection from the weather. Josh went to the nearest home improvement store purchased and installed my exterior protective electrical covers. Not only do they add a nice look to the electrical outlets; but offer me better protection against Mother Nature at her worse. Thanks Josh for your professional and caring attitude, job well done."
