"I used the contractors at Hammerhead to extend my driveway to the extent that my neighborhood rules would allow. The individuals who did the concrete pour and applied the Pavers were exceptional and very reasonably priced. It was quite evident that, between them, they had many years of experience as they worked efficiently and with a high degree of skill. Moreover, they were quite creative. When it became clear that the left side of the driveway extension would be about 4” below the turf line, Jose used the remains from the Pavers which had already been sized and cut to create a border which hid the turf line and created a natural walkway that looked as if it were predesigned. It was obvious that they were intrinsically motivated to do an outstanding job. I wish that all of the contractors which I have worked with had the same motivation and work ethic. I highly recommend these contractors."

"They actually performed two services. One was to re-install pave stones after fence company removed some in order to install a new section of a wooden fence. The second service was to move a retaining wall where is had been incorrectly installed past my property line. It was rebuilt to get back onto my property and additional stones were installed also. This wall is to prevent rainwater from flowing on to my property and causing flooding. Since the work was completed on Jan. 28, 2017 we have had no rain at all. So, we do not know if the wall is to do it's job of retaining the water flow. It looks good, it appears to be able to do the job, we just need to see it in action. I have graded them on how they treated me, the looks of everything and their reasonable priciing for the work done."

"We bought a cabin and thought we had a rotted log but quickly found out the entire foundation needed to be repaired. Bill & his team laid an all new concrete foundation, built a beautiful back wall & spot for an outdoor fireplace, installed a drainage system & even used the salvageable parts of the logs to recreate the wood siding look. We also hired them to lay gravel down our driveway, repair the mortar on our chimney and install a storm cap on it. We weren't home for a lot of the work and Bill kept me updated on his progress remotely, and worked as quickly and efficiently as any contractor would if the homeowner was present. A real testament to Bill's reliability is that the storm cap we ordered for the chimney was delayed because of supply chain issues and he had to come back to install it. He had already been paid for the job, and I know some less reliable contractors wouldn't have ever shown up but Bill did it happily and even gave me some tips on how best to use our new fireplace. Really nice person, I would use him for any masonry work you want done."

"I had MadeWell Concrete replace my 475 foot concrete driveway in May of this year, 2019. I delayed rating their work because concrete can look good but only time is the best measure of a quality installation. They did a great job of removing the old (39 year old) concrete driveway and preparing the driveway bed for the pouring of the new driveway. They poured the new driveway according to their stated schedule and was finished and gone within 3 days. The new concrete driveway has performed splendidly with no evidence of cracking. One concern that I asked them to address with replacing the old driveway was the slope of the driveway at the entry point at the street. I had experienced my car scraping on the bottom frame due to the rounding of the driveway slope. They changed the slope and resolved the problem and I ve had no recurrence of that since. Alex, MadeWell s sales rep, did a great job of presenting their plan of replacement and his promises and assurances were kept. I would use them again without hesitancy."
