One of our main goals is helping seniors stay in their home for as long as possible, giving them multiple high-end options at prices that show respect, not greed. We believe in taking care of the people who have taken care of us. We want to help make daily life easier and more accessible for our homeowners. We are also parents of young children and we understand that they put their bathrooms to the test. As children grow, so do the strains they put on the builder’s grade products, if you have one of these barely hanging on bathrooms, please allow us to help design a tub to shower installation designed to grow with your family. Or maybe, Mom needs a new luxury shower to brighten her morning or fall into relaxation at the end her day, the way she deserves. Unfortunately, Moms seem to give the most but receive the least. If you have a tired and ugly bathroom that you hate, give us a call. From high-end tile designs to beautiful vanity tops, we understand and pay homage to ALL Moms.

How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because A Bath For Mom is a remodeling company that specializes in bathrooms and shower design. We are located in Spring, Texas. I have been serving home owners for more than 20 years with nationwide corporate remodelers, holding every position from installation to store manager. One of things I learned is the industry standard of providing a one size fits all for its customers, only focused on huge profits for the corporation, does not work in the real world with real people. My wife was an Executive Director for Assisted Living Communities for over 10 years. While talking with clients, she realized that some of the people were coming to live there because their homes were not set up to age in place. With these two things driving our thoughts on how to help, A Bath For Mom was born. Whether a luxury bathroom for Mom, a bathroom to assist Mom, or a shower for her children, we focus on all bathrooms dreamed by MOMs..

Remodel to Accommodate a Disability

Eric is an excellent contractor who stayed on top of every detail in this project. We got rid of our bathtub/shower, and he expanded it into an ADA approved walk-in shower for my husband. Eric met us at the tile store and knew all about the tile choices. He has a great tile guy who really is a perfectionist in his craft, and uses a master plumber. They cleaned up daily, were on time, friendly, and returned calls promptly. The guy who did the glass doors was just as fastidious with details. We highly recommend A Bath for Mom.

Eric did an excellent job guiding us to what we really wanted. Jorge is the real star of the show. He does wonderful work with tile. He respected our property, showed up to work every day and kept the timeline Eric had promised. Overall we are extremely satisfied with our dealings with a bath for mom.

Remodel a Bathroom

Eric was so very helpful in helping to design the shower added, he had a small area to work with, but managed to created a very rooming size shower, all glass shower. Eric's knowledge in Bathroom design, helped me pick the right tiles and colors to make it look beautiful. He Handled the remodel professionally and in a timely manner. Great team! Thank you Eric I really love the new shower! thank Goodness the capsule shower is Gone! I would hire A Bath for Mom , for future Bathroom remodels and Highly recommend Eric and his Team, Very friendly and helpful.

Remodel a Bathroom

"A Bath for Mom" is a great company to use for a bathroom remodel. We highly recommend them for all plumbing and bathroom needs. They took the old bathtub out and replaced it with a beautiful full walk-in shower. The job only took a few days and they were very efficient, everyone was on time and they did exactly what I asked them to do. They also went out of their way to clean up after. The work created a lot of dust, but the workers vacuumed and made sure everything was cleaned every night. The shower itself is beautiful. It came out much better than we expected.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the state in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Businesses will not be admitted to the network if their owners or principals have the following felonies in their available criminal records*:

Arson

Assault/domestic violence/battery

Child abuse

Intimidation/terrorist threats

Kidnapping/abduction

Lewd and lascivious behavior

Manslaughter/murder/homicide/vehicular homicide

Rape/incest

Robbery/carjacking

Sex offenses

Other felonies not listed above that occurred in the past seven years

Contracting without a license in the past seven years

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened biennially.

How is COVID-19 impacting the HomeAdvisor background check program?

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, several government agencies and courts across the country have temporarily closed their offices. Licensing

Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
