"Inch by Inch renovated our basement. It, at one point, had plywood for walls, but now mostly had been insulation that was falling down, ancient carpet, scarily old wiring: it was not just gross but probably dangerous. Andy and his contractors with Inch by Inch made it not just functional and safe but gorgeous. They tore it down completely and rebuilt: flooring, walls, ceiling, wiring... The basement may now be the best room in our house. He listened to our needs and concerns at every point; he was very responsive to questions; everyone was punctual and thoughtful. I also feel like his prices are very reasonable for the high quality they deliver. I could not be happier. Recommend them very highly! We're hiring them again to add a bathroom in the basement.show more

"My wife and had put out numerous bids for quotes to have a roof built with lights, ceiling fan and plugs installed on our patio and we chose J Murphy Contracting Inc. Bainbridge, Pa. I can honestly say John and Joe did all the work very well, as a matter of fact they they even impressed our Township Codes inspector with their work, who said that he’s been doing codes inspecting for years and thought John was doing a very good quality job. John and Joe did the wiring and also the siding and finishing. All. The work this company did was all TOP NOTCH . "They said they would be here at 7am and they were here at 6:45am. Crew of 9 started right away with no wasted motion. I've never seen anything like it. The guys worked their buts off. Ripped off old roof, replaced 7 sheets of roof sheathing that were bad, replaced my 6 skylights, installed 35 square of shingles and flashed with copper flashing. It was expected to rain that night so they worked until after 8pm - completed the entire job in one day! All while covering our walkways and flower beds with plywood and canvas. It was incredible to watch. They were like ants - each worker knowing exactly what his role was and performing it quickly and expertly. I've been selling building materials for 40 years, I've been around jobsites my whole life and I've never seen anything like it. We've had some hard rains and the roof performs and looks fantastic.
