Dear Mr. [Member Name Removed], We do appreciate you removing a similar falsely worded review you left on Yelp since you know not one word of it was true. I want to clarify a few things for you & the community who may read this. You mentioned Mark using foul language & him & our crew picking a fight with your neighbor. None of that is true. The first & only time Mark was on your property was about a year ago (Sept 28th, 2021, to be exact) because your neighbor, who is not a customer of ours left us a negative review claiming our crew blew your leaves into their yard. After meeting on your property with you on the phone & us in-person you confirmed your property line & confirmed the area we blew the leaves in & always have blown them into for 5 years is where you continued to want them as it was your property. You said you would handle this with your new neighbor. No foul language or fights were ever used or encouraged by us during those discussions. Mark has always been very professional. I have emails to prove all of this if I need to. We didn’t hear from you again until almost a year after when you called a female employee of ours the four-letter C word (among other profanity) in front of your child & made our employee cry this past summer. Then, you fired us. You mentioned in your review that our employees don’t speak English. While most don’t speak it well, some do. The female employee of ours that you called that nasty four-letter C word is bilingual & speaks English & Spanish very well, so she had no issues understanding the profanity you were saying to her. When we tried to call you & understand your side of the story of what happened you were very aggressive by not letting us speak & hung up – effectively not allowing our manager (Phil not Mark) to ask any questions. You also mention in your review that we continue to call you & harass you since this incident. Since you hung up on our manager, we have not called you once & we can prove that with call logs from all our phones….please remove this remove.Service Provider Response
Mr [Member Name Removed], First let me say sorry for the experience you had and thank you for the kind words regarding the quality of work! I believe you expected a direct pro-ration of your bill. As an example, if you paid $100 per month for 4 services and we agreed to "pause" services which would have led to 3 services not being completed then you would have expected a $75 refund for that month. Unfortunately there are other services that are part of your monthly payment that have already been completed this year that would not be "paused" and have already been paid for by us such as chemicals (fertilizers and weed treatment) and hedge trimming that occurred earlier this year and leaf removal that would have happened later this year. Those amounts are spread out over your 12 monthly payments and can not be prorated/paused in a situation like this. I believe that is why this situation occurred. I hate that we have lost you as a customer and that we upset you but we have already completed and/or paid for services that were part of your contract and refunds could not be provided above what was agreed too.
