I had, I thought, a simple project: remove an old bathroom faucet and install a new one I had purchased at Home Depot. But when it comes to plumbing, things are often not as simple as they seem. Fortunately, the team from Dependable knew what they were doing, even when they encountered original, no-longer-standard-sized angle brackets, and a hole in the P-trap. They are not the cheapest plumbing service, but their prices are at least consistent, due to a glossy printed price guide that I was directed to more than once to understand how I was being billed for each component of the job as it grew in scope. But I don't mind paying for expertise, and I think the team earned their pay, because this turned out to be something that wouldn't have been a good project for amateurs. We had used Alberto a couple of months ago when he came out to try to fix our Rohl faucet. As stated in a previous post, he tried as best he could but the major problem could not be fixed due to a previous improper installation. They had left out a key part that, over time, prevented the handle from turning. He did at that time, however, make the faucet usable and suggested we get a new one. We called to have him come out and install a new Delta faucet that we had purchased. He called back promptly to set an appt. but due to our conflicting schedules, it was several days before we could set a mutually acceptable appt. On the day of the appt., he showed up on time and began the installation process. We ran into a problem in that the new faucet was missing one of the bags of parts and one of these parts was key to the installation. Alberto then went to Home Depot where we purchased the faucet and was able to get the needed part for us. When he returned he was able to complete the installation and everything is now working fine. I would approximate that between the work time and travel to Home Depot and back, he easily spent a couple of hours. Although this process was tedious, Alberto was professional and helpful the entire time. I would not hesitate to use his handyman services again or to recommend him to othershow more

Dave arrived promptly on the day and time we agreed upon, and immediately went to work. Unfortunately, the original sink and countertop was custom made, which required quite a bit of additional time and work to conform to the custom cutout of the countertop. No problem! Dave did an excellent job making the required adjustments, while explaining, and showing me the changes needed, to result in the correct fit. Excellent job. We'd had an ongoing problem with a horrible noise and shaking when a newly installed outdoor sprinkler system activated in the early morning hours. We discovered that the kitchen sink was coming on by itself (a slow dribble on one side), and that when we turned the faucet off, the screeching/shaking in the system stopped. We'd seen the Shamrock truck in the neighborhood, and decided to give him a call. He called back the next morning, and was able to come right away. Les suggested we get a new faucet. It's old-style, wall mounted. He told us where we could find one (there are not many to choose from in this style!). We went and purchased on our own (while he finished up another job), and Les returned within the hour to install the new faucet. Oscar and Ignacio came out the day before and gave us a quote, they were too busy to do all the work that day so they showed up the next morning on time as agreed. They installed a kitchen and bath faucet and we ended up redoing all piping under 3 sinks with ABS, replacing the old metal that was leaking. They did a GREAT job. All work was done professionally and correctly, they cleaned up afterwards and were both really nice guys. We couldn't be happier and would absolutely have them come back for other plumbing workshow more

Very pleased with the work. Company representative arrived earlier than scheduled time. Job turned out to be more difficult and time consuming than anticipated but the representative stuck with it until it was successfully completed. The only small complaint we have is that the post-job cleanup could have been bettershow more

John is a really nice guy. He is very knowledgeable about his trade. We had a kitchen faucet installed by him. There were a few hick ups in the the installation, some unforeseen (as in most plumbing projects) and some that could have been prevented. Excellent. I needed to call twice in the same week. One I needed someone to replace leaking faucets and diagnois problem with shower. The clogged sink was unexpected. Kevin came the first time; Cesar the second. Both were knowledgeable and efficient. I have been taken advantage of by pervious plumbers and was very cautious. They were great and very profesional. I called to have the faucet repaired, and when the plumber had completed that in less than the hour of work scheduled, he asked if I had any other work which needed to be done. I had been wanting to have the flanges installed, after a friend had neglected to put them on when installing a new faucet on old pipes. I called Water Quality Plumbing yesterday based on the recommendations I'd seen on Angie's List. We scheduled the installation for the next day and I received a call confirming a 9AM visit the next morning. Phil showed up on time and had the faucet installed in 40 minutes. He was extremely professional and personable and did a great job answering questions I had about the new faucet. 1) I hired Superior Plumbing to fix the leak in my kitchen faucet and install a new faucet I received from MOEN; I paid them $300.00+ which also included installing the garbage disposal & a part on the toilet; 2) shortly thereafter the leak started again and I reported it to Superior; 3) They came out and inspected it and said that it would cost another $300.00 to fix the problem. I paid the $300.00; 4) again after a short time, it started leaking again & I reported it to Superior; 5) Superior sent out another plumber who turned the faucet back & forth with his wrench and said there was nothing else he could see to do; 6) It continued to leak and I reported it again to Superior Plumbing who offered to said they were only available early in the morning when it was not convenient for me. I explained to them that due to health issues, and the medication I am taking, mornings are not good for me. To date, I have not heard back from them,and there is still a leakshow more

Dave and his team are awesome! We hired Dave and his team originally to replace a sink faucet. However during faucet installation Dave came into the house to check on the work he smell an odor and said based on the odor we have a broken pipe. Immediately he took a look for us in the crawl space and indeed there was a broken pipe under the house.
