Gustavo & crew did an excellent job cleaning & arranging the rugs & carpet. It was a huge challenge to arrange all carpets & rugs in the garage area to clean & dry efficiently. The appt. was for 2pm on President's Day but I was running late and they rescheduled me at the last minute for an hour later; no complaints. A representative who spoke great English came first to do the initial estimate (very reasonable) and get all the detailed information on what I wanted. He translated to his crew and once all the communication was taken care of, he left the crew to work. It took them a total of 4.5 hours to complete the job and they worked diligently the entire time. They were courteous to me and to the neighbors. The stairs were well scrubbed and washed down. The garage was equally well cleaned including a water and ammonia wash on the floors. The were careful to build a dam around the corner of the garage where I had furniture. I am elated with the job they did. When I walked into my garage this morning, I beamed! Atticare was professional and pretty much consistent throughout our relationship with them. Upon our first call to them, the call went to voicemail, and they called back immediately. They scheduled a free inspection, and quoted us a price below their minimum, because we had such a small space to handle. The price was very reasonable based on our conversations with other vendors for what we'd be getting. We truly appreciated this as another service that had been recommended to us and who had come to give us a bid charged $75 just for the inspection, gave us only a verbal report, and quoted us an exorbitant price that would have required us to go into debt. Atticare could also handle all of the different things we needed to have done and all in one visit, which was not the case with other vendors we contacted, who said we would need to contact different vendors they recommended for different services and coordinate all of those services ourselves. Another thing we liked about Atticare was that we were able to schedule the inspection for a Sunday, so we didn't have to take time off of work to be home for the inspection. We received a confirmation call the day before. The inspector arrived promptly, was friendly and professional. He investigated our garage, which is where we needed to have work done, and then offered to inspect our house, too, explaining it was free and it would be good be sure rodents hadn't moved inside. During that inspection, he gave us free advice about our insulation but didn't pressure us to give Atticare work. It was very helpful, and we felt, above and beyond. We scheduled to have Atticare work on our garage the following Saturday. We gave a very reasonable deposit on the spot. Atticare called later in the week and apologized and said they had to reschedule. We were a little disappointed, because we wanted to get the work done, but it wasn't a big deal. They were able to come the following Sunday, which again we appreciated not having to take off time from work for this job, and the delay gave us extra time to prepare. We again received a confirmation call the day before the work was to be done, and we were told that we would receive a call half an hour before the team would arrive, and they would arrive within a two-hour window. We didn't receive a call within that two-hour window, so we called the main office (which was open on a Sunday!), where they checked on it and and called us back to say the team would be there in half an hour. It was more like an hour before they showed up. That said, the team was efficient and ready to do work. We were happy with the results. When we inspected directly after they did the work, we found things that had not been done thoroughly, and when we brought it up with the team lead, there were no questions about it. He had the team go back and do the work. When the inspector had come a couple of weeks before, he had said that the team would help disinfect items we wanted to keep, and while again we had to remind the team of this, they were friendly and accommodating in helping us with that work. It was a big, intense job, and they were a big help. They did what they said they'd do (though they forgot a couple of things, easily an oversight) and overall their work was quality. And they left extra supplies with us. We were able to pay with a credit card electronically on the spot - no need to call an office or send a check. Also, the inspector had told us that they could give us rat traps as a precaution. The team leader didn't have any in his van, so he promised to drop them by later that evening. He did. It had been a long day, and it was dark when he came by, but he kept his word, and we really appreciated that. She hire people to do the work, anyway they were really good. It was a couple and I used the husband to do some garden work for me also, I've used that particular couple. I really like Angie's List and I'm going to stay with them. They did a few extra things to us, which is really nice. In these days, you really watch who you let in your house specially in my area. They were very honest, very straight forward, very pleasant, they did a very good job. They live in my area so when I need to use them again they're not that far so I don't have to worry about getting gas cost or travel cost. They helped me build out a quarter acre garden, they repaired some fences that had completely blown away during the high winds last year. They helped me move and clean my home and organize my home. We were renovating our house before moving in, and there was a lot of construction, especially dust everywhere that was almost impossible to remove by regular means. Patty and Jose were very responsive from the start, scheduled a time to stop by, inspected the house, and gave us a quote. They fully understood how tough this dust was to clean, and ensured us that they would not only clean the floors but also the walls. They charged extra for cleaning the windows and blinds and even threw in a basic garage cleaning as a favor. What started out as a house completely filled with dust was in great move-in condition by the time they finished. Inevitably, one of the blinds still had some amount of dust remaining on it, but in the grand scheme of things, this is minute compared to the hours of work they saved us had we tried to attempt (futilely) to do this on our own. Our family has been having Mary and Ernesto clean our house for nearly ten years. Ernesto usually gives the estimate for work. When work is ongoing, regular, and often, the price is lower. For example, when they cleaned our house two times a week they charged $120 per week, but when they cleaned our house one time a week they charged $80 per week. When the job is a one-time job, or a big job, they will give a high estimate; when they cleaned our old house and garage right before new owners moved in, the price was higher. However, they do a great job! We had others clean our house before we found Mary and Ernesto, but always there was always something that left us scratching our heads; such as a lovely job in the kitchen but cobwebs left on the living room ceiling. But we've never had this problem with Mary and Ernesto! Ernesto was very prompt in calling me back and came to look at the townhome the same day. He provided me with a reasonable quote. We scheduled a time for the cleaning and he was very willing to accommodate my schedule. When I could not meet him to give him the keys, he came to my house on Saturday evening to pick them up. They are especially good at cleaning glass. This unit had lots of glass (mirrors and windows) and all came out spotless. The bathrooms, kitchen and overall condition of the unit was good when they were done. They even managed to clean the dirty Grey grout in between the tiles on the kitchen counter top. Oven and refrigerator were thoroughly clean and looked like new. Also swept garage. They charged $320 for the cleaning and $150 for the windows. They are wonderful. They offer every service that I could ever think that I need. They did dusting, dishes and laundry. They drive up to the airport. They do everything including rug cleaning. Linda's fiancé does rug cleaning and he would clean all the rugs in your house for a certain price that is very reasonable. I have paid her extra for polishing the silverware. She is absolutely amazing and handy in so many ways. I pay them $165 every time that they come out and clean. The price includes laundry. It also includes cleaning the cat's litter and making sure the garage is straightened up. I would like people who are a little bit older to know that there is actually a good way to stay in your house and get your things done because they are jack of all trades.
