They arrived bright and early at 8AM. I was not at home but was able to get home quickly to see to them. I didn't get any sort of confirmation email or phone call the day before, so not sure what happened. I just glad I was able to salvage the appointment. "I found Brian from Black Forest Landscape via the Internet search (formerly Scapes Northwest). He had EXCELLENT reviews, but you can't believe everything you read on the internet - can you? Asked Brian for a bid and from the initial meeting we liked him. He was very personable, had a great eye for the design that we wanted in our backyard (which was dirt to start with), answered all of our questions, went with us to suggest and purchase plants for the backyard... He and his crew did an exceptional job! In addition to landscaping the backyard he added a retaining wall for the garden, pathway on the side of the house and re-planted some plants from the front to the back of the house. And to top it all off - his bid came in lowest. You can't go wrong with Brian - give him a call!"

I've always been a skeptical person, and when it comes to hiring someone to do work in my personal space, I also become apprehensive. So It was a massive relief to meet with Yonatan. He is convivial and highly competent in his craft. He listened to what we wanted, asked all the right questions, gave us a quote, a timeline, ensured we bought the right materials, and was in constant communication with us. The oversight and execution on this project was seamless. The scope of work entailed tearing out a shower, old vanity, demoing walls and floors, removing and replacing toilets, wiring, painting, tiling walls and floors, putting pocket shelves in, installing lights and hardware - in TWO weeks (a powder room and main bathroom). In the middle of it, we asked if the guys could paint the interior of our loft as well. The obvious answer was 'yes', but the surprise was that it made no difference to two-week time frame. Having made ourselves scarce for that time, when we got back, Yonatan met us at our place, gleaming with pride. "Alan and his partner were wonderful to work with all the way through! Al was super responsive whenever I had questions, and was very flexible with timing, as I was traveling at the time. We got him to stain our fence, and they did a beautiful and thorough job. It looks fantastic now. I also had to ask him at the last minute to stain the neighbour's side of the fence and they had no problems accommodating me at all. Their price was very reasonable (much more than most quotes I got), and there's no compromise in quality of work or materials used. I'm pretty sure I'll be using Al and his team for most of the work on my property going forward. Finally, the most important thing of all, is that Al is a trustworthy and honest guy, and really pleasant to work with. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough."

Jireh construction performed grading, blown in mulch, drainage, paver install, retaining wall install, and plantings. The backyard is on a hillside in a difficult space to get equipment, but Johnny and his crew had great ideas to complete the project. His crew was always on time and cleaned up the area at the end of each day. Project turned out better than expected. Would recommend them without hesitation."
