"Luckily we were fortunate to meet Michael Martinez who is an award-winning Senior Project Design Specialist, Consultant and Project Manager at Black Diamond Paver Stones & Landscape. Once we met Michael he immediately felt like a member of our family. He is extremely personable, honest and trustworthy with high morals and ethics. At our first meeting Michael took the time to get to know our family, strived to understand the goals and objectives of what we envisioned in our yard and how he could be a part of the solution to overcome some of the challenges in our backyard. He could see the bigger picture and presented design solutions to mitigate project challenges other contractors may encounter later in the job. Michael gave us a design that fulfilled many of the objectives to support the overall goals for our yard. He did an excellent cost to benefit analysis designing smarter which would allow us to get the best value. Considering the design, materials used, scope of project and Michael's expertise, his bid was very competitive. He made me feel very comfortable, and I knew that the plan was in good hands. Michael checked in often and wanted to start as soon as we received HOA approval. While waiting to obtain permission from our HOA to begin, Michael met with his job foreman Juan and us several times onsite to walk through the project. He contacted our other contractor to ensure everything would come together at the end of the project. Michael is very familiar with hardscape products which were very valuable considering the scale of the proposed work. Michael's on-site crew was always on time and had an excellent work ethic. They started at 8am and concluded at 5pm daily. During their day, there was minimal downtime. We only noted two 15 minute breaks and 30 minutes for lunch. They minimized impact from heavy machinery and constant loads of materials coming and going from the site by covering where possible front yard landscaping with plywood. At the end of each day, Michael's team would clean up which my neighbors appreciated. He checked in on site daily to ensure the project was progressing smoothly and to address any project concerns or challenges immediately. If we weren't home he'd provide updates via phone or text. We never felt out of the loop and didn't have any surprises due to Michael's excellent communication skills. When weather didn't allow for construction to continue, Michael's crew would arrive and cover the site to minimize downtime. Michael always had our family's best interests in mind. We really like that Michael handles every aspect of the project. We didn't have to deal with a separate salesperson, designer, project manager, contractor or subcontractor; he manages it all giving us peace of mind. "Lamal O Neal of O Neal Masonry replaced my wooden porch and front steps with brick and replaced my concrete walk way with brick pavers. He created a beautiful design! He really is an artist! He also repaired and repainted my retaining wall. Lamal, rebuilt and painted my picket fence, built and painted (to match my house) a gutter to protect my new brick porch from rain and more! "I got few leaks in the roof that was an issue for us during the winter, the company I called to repair asked me For almost twenty thousand dollars just for A repair so I decided to get more bids, palm construction representative check our roof from above and from the attic, I understand that our old wood tiles roof are originally installed straight on the beams with no plywood! They truly did their work in a craftsman manner taking care of the finished walls and cleaning up each day. Prior to the job when we were considering using Statewide he sent product data and pictures from previous projects they had completed. They gave us a product that will meet our needs for the future with minimal maintenance which is what we were looking for. Statewide finished the floor covering in an office building that will be used at a rifle and pistol range, sealing the floor with a polyaspartic material over natural finish with no stain color."

"We hired Lavu Concrete to expand our driveway so we could get our cars off a busy, narrow street, and a concrete sidewalk to my side yard. The crew showed up early and worked very hard. After I saw the workmanship of a planter his brother installed, I asked him to do a flagstone path through my yard. Sam quoted me a price, and his word is gold. Right before the concrete pour, the lateral sewer line was blocked, because of tree roots. Not anything they did. We had to replace the lateral which is buried 3-5 feet below ground. Everyone said we were lucky it happened before the pour. Thank God! Through all the postponement with the concrete company because of the plumbersâ schedule and weather, owner Sam kept his cool . He and his brother made the driveway and paths beautiful. Wish he did other kind of work or wish I had more work for his company. His price is fair. Heâ s knowledgeable, brother and worker were hardworking. Local business and large enough to work out any problems that might come up along the way like redoing the planter after the plumber came to install the new cleanout."
