"This website wont let me specify what was actually done - it was far more than an inspection. The crew jackhammered out a section of basement floor, installed a drain pipe and sump pump, special channel and a kind of vinyl wall covering to direct any wall seepage to the drain and then the sump pump. They had to install a discharge line and connect it with my exterior downspout drain system. I am not a perfectionist, but I have very high standards. I learned not to take the lowest bid, but go with the company that most seemed to know what they were doing, had great reviews, and weren't trying to talk me into more than I needed. I was 100% completely satisfied with Upfront Construction. They are reliable, trustworthy, and do excellent work. Zezar was so smart and really knew his stuff; inspected the job, taught me the pros and cons of various choices, and was in regular contact with the crew, even coming back to consult with the crew so the discharge line connected to the exterior drain line seamlessly. The crew headed by Lucas, and ably assisted by Joe and Gus were outstanding. Professional, hard working, genuinely pleasant to interact with, and left the house spotless every day of a three day job. Last but not least, Melinda was excellent in her communications, paperwork, all that, which I truly appreciated, it isn't always like that. I highly recommend Upfront Construction, they can do many more things than the work I needed done, and I plan on hiring them again as I continue [slowly] renovating a 97 year old house. The best!"

Ryan and Levi were so helpful and catered to my specific requests and time frames because I work a night job. Their crew went above and beyond, replied to my late-night text messages and the concerns I had about my dogs getting out while they were working. They made sure to clean and lock up every time they left and were very courteous about trying to keep the noise down while I slept, which was very nice of them as well. "Jason responded quickly to come to our home and discuss building a retaining wall on a sloped dirt area which also required removal of 2 trees. He offered great suggestions while he was there and provided a competitive verbal estimate on the spot. He then supported his verbal estimate with a written quote within a few hours. Jason arrived with his crew the following week to begin the project. The weather caused many delays over the next several weeks but they made progress whenever they could. Jason was very good at keeping me informed with text messages. The completed project is perfect for what I told Jason I needed. "After I called Masonry Waterproofing Byron came out to assess the problem. He saw immediately that moisture was coming through the concrete block wall of my work area and said that the outside of the wall needed to be dug up so that it could be sealed and have a vapor barrier installed. At that time he gave me a ballpark figure as I was having two other companies coming to look at the situation. I elected to go with Byron as he seemed to know best what needed to be done. He indicated that it could take up to 5 or 6 days, so we scheduled it to start the following Thursday morning. The crew, Andy, Michael and John arrived a little before 8:30 on the first day. They spread tarps around the area to hold the dirt as they dug (by hand). The wall was 35 linear feet and dug to a depth from 4 to 6 feet. They were very polite and professional. They worked together as a team and each one knew exactly what he was to do. The second day they applied three coats of sealer, applied the vapor lock and back-filled. Byron was able to send in some additional workers to help speed up the job. On the third day, with a crew of 5 or 6 people, they finished up with the French drain. They cleaned up the area each day and at the end of the project left the site spotless. It is my opinion that if you want quality work done professionally, you need to check with Masonry Waterproofing and Drainage Masters."
