"I found RK Design through Home Advisor and was at first apprehensive to hire Michael and his team, for the simple reason they didnâ t come by way of a personal referral. This was going to be my and my wifeâ s first major home remodel on our new house, that included kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and basement. After speaking with Michael and meeting his head contractor we became very comfortable with the idea of hiring them. Michael was patient and answered all of our questions honestly and without empty promises. His team arrived on time everyday and did the job as we had expected. My wife and I are particular with an attention to detail, and by no means all that easy. But Michael and his team delivered and did a fantastic job throughout the house. We had a couple of hiccups along the way with products but they handled these with no issues whatsoever. I live with 4 adults a set of parents and brothers. I just need this remodel to be done already. The floorplan was supposed to change but that was too expensive. So we're keeping the original design which is wonky from the start. The toilet and floor tiles were reinstalled the beginning of the year and they are not level. The medicine cabinet is in but the cover for the furnace needs to be put back on. As well as a barely functioning hamper which holds no purpose besides TP storage. We also need to make sure all the plumbing is up to code along with the electrical. My father is a retired city inspector. So asking him to get someone else to finish the job is absolutely out of the question. I just want to shower and be comfortable. That's not possible currently. I need an understanding contractor who will not overcharge and also is versed with dealing with a person like my father and a house full of opinionated adults. I tried through Amazon 🤦🏾 that was a waste of time. I even tried through highly rated profiles on independent sites. Nothing. I went on the yellow pages webpage... ghost land.
