Taquia set the new post for my mailbox and reattached the mailboxes the same day he provided the quote. I appreciate the quick service.

FULLER HANDYMAN SERVICE
5.0
I emailed Mr. Fuller pictures of the new mailbox I had bought, the existing mailbox and how it was mounted curbside, and asked for a rough estimate of the cost to remove the old box and install the new one. I received the estimate quickly slong with a suggestion of how to keep the costs down. Due to issues on my side, I was unable to follow-up for a couple of weeks, but when I was able to contact Mr. Fuller, he came out the next working day, at the appointed time, did the work perfectly in very short order for less than I thought it would cost. I have used Mr. Fuller's services for a variety of handyman-type jobs, and with always the same result: A excellent job at a fair price and always on schedule

I reached out from Angies list to see if anyone in the Handyman listings did installation of mailboxes and mailbox posts, as our post had broken off due to rust. Out of the three that responded, Eric was the one that I chose. I purchased the post, the mailbox and bracket. Although Eric did not arrive exactly at the time set, he did call to let me know that they had stopped to get some additional materials, which I greatly appreciated! In this day where the art of customer service is dying a quick death, I am grateful for the good customer service shown by Eric. They were very friendly, professional and worked efficiently to dig out the rest of the broken post and concrete, dig and install the mailbox post, and mailbox. I am adding them to my list vendors

Heartwood Residential

FANTASTIC WORK! Nick listened to absolutely every detail I provided. His subcontractor was extremely detailed and took the time to do the job right. Per my request, they used redwood heartwood. They also kept the design aesthetic that I requested down to the tiniest details. I was also very please to see that they were extremely professional to our neighbors and those passing by who had questions. The work took about a half day longer than expected, but it was worth the wait. We will happily use their services again. Thank you

This is a small family run business that has been in business for 30 years. They are very responsive and it seems that no job is too small for them. I am very pleased with the quality of service they provided at a fair price, and would definitely hire again. I now have the most attractive mailbox post on the block

As stated on tape, office person Victoria responds to calls within 24 hours. In response to first call (within about an hour), she indicated that (1) Greg Skeen's Help U Fix charges $60.00/hr. with a two hr. minimum, (2) mailbox installation usually takes about two hours, (3) she advises that people have a short list of other small projects (such as caulking) so that if minimum is not reached, installer will fill up the time with the other projects, and (4) I should order the mailbox and post first and then schedule a visit by Greg Skeen to provide a more accurate estimate. A few weeks later, after obtaining the mailbox and post and checking to ensure that the instructions and required parts were in the box (purchased a missing 5/16" washer), I e-mailed to Victoria a description of the exact mailbox and post ordered, and also stated that the project would include removing the old mailbox and post (which we did not discuss on our first call). E-mail stated that I wished to obtain an estimate and/or schedule the work as applicable. Victoria responded via e-mail that the estimate would be 2 to 4 hours and that we could go ahead and schedule the project for the following week. We did so. Installer called from driveway at precisely the time scheduled (one hour window and he called at the beginning of that window). He specifically confirmed that I did in fact want to place the new mailbox in exactly the same place as the old one instead of placing it beside the old one, explaining that it would take more time to dig out the old concrete. I confirmed this. He then got to work and was still able to finish within two hours. He charged for two hours plus $30 for the rapid-dry concrete. While $60/hour might seem a bit high for handyman work, it is the same hourly rate that another handyman service charged me for installing a gate in my wooden fence a couple of years ago. Also, Greg Skeen's installer had all of the correct equipment and clearly had installed mailboxes before. He didn't waste time. Someone without the proper equipment would have taken twice as long. The total price was about the same as what another contractor quoted to me a few years ago in a casual conversation at a party about what it might cost to install a mailbox

They were wonderful and I was very happy with the service. They came out the afternoon I called to take pictures of what we needed. When they came back to install the post in cement it took about two days to complete. They were very polite and I have recommended them to others.

Various handyman odd jobs that were piling up. Installed a kayak on the wall, laid floor tile and my exercise machine on top of the new mat, installed door knobs, fixed cord-pull style lights, installed wall sconce candle holders, fixed the mailbox that fell off from metal fatigue, etc. He and his colleague Mario were excellent to work with and definitely would hire again

Very smoothly, superb outcome. Herb is a professional--knowledgeable, straightforward, and honest. How he put the gates together so seamlessly, I don't know. Herb bought some of the necessary supplies and parts needed for the projects and he did an exceptional job. Project completion was spread over several afternoons during the week and it fit nicely with my schedule. He returned my initial call promptly and began the project on the next day. Can't ask for a better handyman

Great! He does exactly what he says he's going to - call you, call you back, arrives on time, every time, explains how he's going to fix things and what materials are needed. And I didn't have to wait 2 weeks for him to come and do the work. That is a rare find these days and much appreciated. He is more expensive than my last handyman, Cliff, however Cliff moved away from the Bay Area because he couldn't afford increasing rent so happy to pay a fair and living wage to Bruce. Call Bruce and I have no doubt you'll be very pleased

He was prompt and efficient He is a good problem solver He is trustworthy Only part I didn't prefer is his pricing. While $75/hour is fair, he's chatty and that takes up time he charges for + he rounds up on the hour instead of charging for a partial hour

Nothin22it Handyman Service Patrick Joseph Maloney
5.0
Things went well. Patrick provided me with options for addressing the various work items, but let me make the choice on how it got done, and then he implemented what I asked for. He worked within the budget I gave him for materials, and completed the tasks in an effective time manner. In the end, I was very happy with the quality of his work, and his work demeanor. I would certainly call on Patrick for future tasks

Richard, was right on time, kept me posted on what he was doing, and was good at keeping it cost effective and not over doing anything. He also gave me good advice on a wall repair I needed that was a cheaper way to go than I was planning on doing. I will absolutely be calling RIchard again when I have other "handyman" services needed. THanks RIchard
