The place is full of all sorts of interesting lamps and they have a little area in the back where they repair the lamps. The owner is very enthusiastic about lamps and he did a perfect job on my lamp and it looks great.

I have 2 wall lamps, one on each side of the bed that my wife and use for reading. The switches were going out on both lamps. I took them to Berkeley Lighting and the gentleman there looked them over and gave me an estimate of $40.00 each. I did not want the 3 way switches that were in the lamps because I use energy saving lamps. I asked him to install single switches because of the lamps that we use. He did as I requested. In a few days he called and I picked up the lamps, they work just fine. I am happy with the work done and as the switches were the only problem, the lamps are like new. I think the cost of repair was reasonable

CARLOS LIGHTING IS A FAMILY-OWNED SHOP THAT SPECIALIZES IN QUALITY INTERIOR LIGHTING UNITS. THEY HAD SOLD ME A PAIR OF MATCHING FLOOR LAMPS ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO. THESE ARE ELEGANT, WELL-BALANCED AND STURDY BASES WITH SUBTLE ART DECO STYLE ETCHED GLASS BOWL LIDS WITH 3-WAY LIGHTS. I WAS HAPPY TO PURCHASE BOTH THE MATCHING LAMP, AND THE NEW MATCHING GLASS COVER. NOW I HAVE MY TWO MATCHING LAMPS AGAIN IN THE FAMILY ROOM, AND A SPARE IN THE TV ROOM. I NEED STURDY LAMPS BECAUSE THE KIDS ARE ALWAYS MOVING THEM AROUND FOR BETTER SPOT LIGHTING -- EVEN THOUGH I GOT TWO FULLY LIT BRIGHT CHANDELIERS OVERHEAD AND TWO FLOOR LAMPS IN THE TV ROOM (WHERE THEY STUDY). I KNOW I CAN RELY ON CARLOS LIGHTING FOR QUALITY SAMPLES AND GOOD WORKMANSHIP WHEN I NEED A LAMP REPAIRED

They rewired my lamp and changed the adapter to use energy saving bulbs. The price was reasonable. I especially liked that the gentilman doing the work let me stand there and watch how he did it and explained what he was doing. It was perfect.

I brought my lamp in 5 minutes before they closed and he told me I could pick up the lamp the next day after 2 PM. The lamp was not only rewired by the time promised, but he called twice to give me options on the job. Also, I'd told him I wanted to buy a new shade, and when I arrived he had a perfectly lovely shade already on the lamp for me to preview. It was a good choice, but I chose another. :-) Very pleased, and would return for rewiring and shade needs in futur

They do a super job. They have products in the store that resembled the products that might have been used when the lamp was created back in the 1930’s. They had different types of cord that you could use like the ones in the 50’s and 60’s. They are really very specific. They had lamp parts that were new but looked old. I was impressed with that; I thought that was great. I did not think that the price was unreasonable at all. The staffs were very knowledgeable. It was suppose to take a week and they called me in four days when it was done. It is kind of home spend thing down here. I think the owner actually worked on some of the repairs

Clif called us shortly after we contacted him. The job was scheduled within a couple of days. Everything went fine - Clif installed our new lamps without producing any dirt, put the old lamps neatly in the containers of the new lamps and got the job done quickly. Mike’s Vintage Lamp Repair & Restoration
He was nice, excellent, and was reasonable. He fixed a lamp that I thought wasn t able to be fixed. He also picks up and delivers. My lamp he took it home one day and then brought it back the next day and it was done really well. He is really into fixing the lamps and is really a nice guy. He is a talker though, but that s okay. He was very punctual and did exactly what he said he was going to do

Jeremy first came and checked out what the job would entail. He is a very pleasant and professional person. Abe then came in and started the installations. They consulted with me about details about the height of a chandelier, and it turned out to look perfect. The other lights were installed- Abe was also pleasant and professional, and did a very good job of working steadily and finishing a bit early. I would use Got Watts again, without question. This is the second time that I have used them

It's not a deal -- i purchased 2 hours for $139 and 2 days later the price decreased to $119 -- hired them to install 2 new outlets -- then the guy took 2 hours to install 1 new outlet 4 feet from the circuit breaker box -- said he had to install a new circuit breaker for that one outlet?? When the 2 hours were up, it took 15 minutes to install the 2nd new outlet which was directly on the other side of the wall from an existing outlet. Then, no electricity -- he was sure it was a GFI but there wasn't one in the room -- He was going to charge an additional 2 hours at regular price after he paced around trying to figure out what happened -- then he offered to return on Saturday to figure out the problem because he had to go to his next appointment. I called the company, mentioned the price decrease and they didn't offer to honor the price then said they would get back to me about fixing the problem -- i found the GFI 2 hours later behind the microwave (on the other side of the wall from the new outlet). I shouldn't have had to pay extra to figure out what the electrician should have figured out easily. It wasn't a deal, i paid extra, and it seems like the deal was really a hook. I'm canceling the dryer vent cleaning - figuring the deal for that will turn into a much greater cost
