Excellent, professional roofing (as far as I can tell) but poor customer service. My impression is this company is geared toward commercial work. They had been recommended by friends who own commercial buildings. During the big storm in January, the new chimney cover blew off. I left a message with my contact, who didn't respond for 10 days. I called again and finally about three weeks later they repaired everything at no charge. But again, the customer service was lousyshow more

Chandler's did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend them when considering any type of roof installation and/or repair. The IB PVC thermoplastic roof was installed on the 8,500 sq. ft. Ashford Market, Santa Monica, CA roof in mid 2010 (zip code is 90403). This was an extremely difficult job as the old tar and gravel roofing system that was removed was very old and complex with a myriad of electrical conduit, gas and water piping, seven HVAC units, external HVAC ducting and a T-Mobile telephone antenna system with it's cable trays and six antennas. They also removed the old exterior HVAC ducts and installed new flexible ducting in the attic area and installed new platforms and condensate lines. Chandler's worked well with other subcontractors on the job and most importantly they worked very well with the City of Santa Monica Building and Safety inspector and the C of SM is not easy to deal withshow more

The reason that the price was $11650 instead of $9000 was because I went with the commercial grade vinyl roof as opposed to the residential. The cart was known as IB roofing which was supposed to be a whole lot better than the old ones that most people had. It came with a seven year warranty and I hope it would be the last roof I ever bought. So far, I have been very happy with it. I liked that the owner of the company came out several times to look at how things went. They solved some interesting problems on the roof that one would not necessarily have on other kinds of roofing. I liked the fact that they were able to solve problems that were not straight forward. It was hard for me to say anything on the price as I ddn't know what price it should have been. I would recommend them to other membersshow more

I called Jason at Precision Built Construction again as I always to, to construct a "Tough Shed" type building on the side of our home to store garden tools and a special generator to power our home in the event of a PG&E power shutoff. It was perfection! Painted to match the house, it will likely add to the value of our home when we sellshow more

Tim is excellent owner of the company. He communicate well, his job performances are excellent, He did everything that he promised and beyond; he was very nice and patient. It was pleasure to make business with him. I have dealt with many contractors and Tim is definitely stands out. Excellent quality of painting job as well. Very impressed. They were very good. They have a family business. They were very honest. They have been in the business from a long time. They gave me a discount as I was their regular customer. They were honest and straight forward. They explained everything. When I had questions, they came back and looked at it again and fixed it up. They were very responsive. He even responded to my desperate texts outside of business hours. They arrived to do the repair exactly when they said they would and were fully prepared. They were crazy efficient, super nice, explained everything they were doing and their fee was incredibly reasonable; most importantly, they really cared about the job they were doing and the service they were providing.
