  This casual, family-friendly restaurant is named for the Makahiki season, the traditional Hawaiian celebration of the harvest. Here, the spirit of Makahiki is celebrated through delectable cuisine and local artwork.
  
  Throughout the restaurant, you'll find elegant glass designs and jewel-toned murals that depict the story of the Makahiki season. And as day turns to night, the restaurant's lighting gradually turns from rose to indigo with the setting of the sun.

  Makahiki is conveniently located on the first floor of the main building, adjacent to The ‘Ōlelo Room. The lanai overlooks a shimmering koi pond beside the Waikolohe Valley pool area.

  Enjoy a casual family-friendly preset 3-course breakfast featuring fresh local ingredients and chef-inspired dishes.

  Makahiki Restaurant hosts Character Breakfast daily.

  Choose one of several options for entrée along with a basket of bakeries and fresh fruit platter.

  Mimosas and Aloha Marys are available for Guests 21 and older.

  PhotoPass photos taken inside Makahiki are not included in the Breakfast Photo Packages and must be purchased separately on the PhotoPass website.

    • Clothing with objectionable material, including obscene language or graphics
    • Excessively torn clothing or loose-fitting clothing which may drag on the ground and create a potential trip hazard
