As a Product Marketing Manager, you will shape Kaltura’s Go to Market strategy using deep product insights, industry knowledge, and market intelligence. Your deep understanding of the product features and the buying process will drive change in how we market and sell our products. Kaltura is seeking an exceptionally talented, driven, and business-minded attorney to join our legal team as a senior legal advisor in our US team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, growing SaaS company. The successful candidate will work closely with a broad range of internal stakeholders including sales, procurement, product, marketing and finance teams to support Kaltura’s operations across the globe, as well on corporate and securities matters, reporting to the company’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to manage a diverse workload at the company’s legal and business domains is a must. The successful candidate should also have strong interpersonal skills and be able to build relationships with internal stakeholders as well as vendors, partners, and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Structure, draft, and review all manner of commercial agreements, with an emphasis on, cloud services, software licensing, partnership, and technology development agreements, sales and procurement;
- Represent Kaltura in negotiations with customers, partners, and vendors;
- Provide legal advice on a range operational matters, including sales, data privacy, IT security, finance, HR, product, and R&D;
- Handle Corporate Governance, corporate law and securities law aspects, work with the General Counsel and external Securities lawyers on SEC reporting and Board and compliance matters; and
- Work with the legal team and other internal stakeholders to design, build and improve internal processes to support Kaltura’s growth.
Qualifications:
- J.D. or L.L.M from a U.S. law school;
- 5-10 years of relevant experience at a law firm or as in-house counsel;
- Experience in the tech sector, particularly with software licensing, recurring revenue business models, and SaaS products strongly preferred;
- Experience in Nasdaq or NYSE publicly traded companies (domestic issuers) corporate and securities work;
- Strong writing skills, analytical approach, attention to detail, fast learning, and organizational abilities;
- Ability to work independently and as a team-player and prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment;
- Desire and ability to work on a wide variety of matters, including those outside of subject-matter expertise; and
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
