I agreed to use the company and gave him a down payment for the work and the work was scheduled for June 22 and 23. But I was notified June 21 to reschedule because of a problem with the permit. After several phone calls to the city permit office by me, work was approved for June 23. Brandon and Jabari did a nice job, others came from OBA to help with the plumbing and inspect the work. There were a few problems after the work was done (no hot water, leak in the faucet that does to the washer) that were addressed by OBA the next day or the next week. I really appreciate OBA and the follow up that they provide to make things right, Jeremiah was very helpful. It is a messy job but they cleaned up the area very nicely after they were finished

Paul came and gave me some suggestions I could try on my own before doing extensive work. After some time it became apparent I would still need professional work done. I had multiple companies come out, but felt most comfortable with Paul and Rogers Basement Waterproofing. Paul was available anytime I reached out and did an excellent job answering my questions and coming up with solutions for our problem. We ended up having them do waterproofing in our unfinished basement and crawlspace. The crew took extra steps to ensure cleanliness (ex: they put up barriers, covered the steps, etc.). Our basement looks amazing and has been dry since they finished their work. On top of all that, Paul even contacted me after the work was finished to make sure I was happy with it and to reach out if I ever have any questions. The crew worked hard and was very efficient. - Ohio Basement AuthorityI definitely recommend OBA. We had a tiny bit of water accumulate in one corner of the basement after a heavy rain last summer (‘21). Not wanting to ignore the problem, I contacted OBA for a free estimate. Daryl was out soon after and he was extremely professional and courteous. But what I appreciated most of all was his honesty and not pushy. We ended up taking advantage of every service they offer (water proofing, reinforcement of a slightly bowing wall, finishing crawl space, new sump, new outside drain). While I’m never crazy about such a financial commitment, I feel that it was well worth the investment. The actual crew headed by Miguel was just as professional, doing an amazing job. His manager Zach was extremely responsive, working around our availability after the job was mostly finished, to tie up some final details. Go with OBA. You won’t regret it
- Rogers Basement WaterproofingI was very satisfied with the Rogers Basement Waterproofing work. I had several estimates done by other companies that were proposing a drainage system that is not optimal (there are several YT videos where their "patented system" is just ripped off since it does not work). Moreover, these companies do not take into account the fact that my basement is finished (I have a family room, bathroom, and two offices in the basement) and they just offer to destroy everything and let you rebuild it on your own afterwards. Paul was very considerate, installed only the internal drain where it was needed. I was surprised how clean they were (the job is messy, involves breaking the cement basement floor, digging the trench, filling it with gravel and drain pipe, installing the sump pump and pipes to connect to the storm sewer outside). The team was very efficient and organized, covered all the "traveled areas" with foil, and cleaned after their work. It took them 2 days during January, and I no longer have water problem. They are not "the cheapest" (but only a few hundred bucks more expensive than my least expensive estimate from other companies), but they did an excellent work. They do not push you with marketing techniques. Paul just said "If you are interested, just call us and if you want recommendations I can show you hundreds of them, since I did a lot of work in this are". I actually did not need then, since he was recommended by our friends that were very satisified with their work. I wholeheartedly recommend them

"In all of the 24 years that we've lived in our home, our sump pump never kicked on. We just assumed that it was because it didn't have to because our property is on a hill, but it turns out that it was rusted solid. Also, the water pipes from the downspouts on the west side of the house to the street were clogged with soil and/or roots, and were not draining rain water underground to the street's gutter efficiently, so in a heavy downpour, the excess water was seeping through the concrete blocks of our foundation on that side of the house. Luckily, we discovered water on the floor in our basement before it got to be a major problem, and we scheduled a crew from Stay Dry Waterproofing to install a new sump pump and all new PVC pipes underground. They showed up on Monday morning as promised, and spent several hours tunneling under the mulch beds next to our house and down the hill, and then UNDER the sidewalk to the gutter. They did a good job by returning the top soil dirt back into the trench and the sod back in place. They did poke a small hole in the plastic window well cover with a shovel, but it's no big deal (we sealed it with duct tape, and big flowerpots will cover it in the summer). Joe Basham was very polite & friendly, and he and his crew did an excellent job!

"This was the most efficient, professional, reasonable rate contractor we hired last fall to do work around our home. They came out and gave us a quote along with pictures of area and work to be done. I thought the quote was very reasonable because of the large patio we had (16’x24’) and how much it has sunk over the years. "Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value I took multiple bids on my basement project across basement companies in Columbus. Mid state basement systems had the best and most fair pricing. They did not use any scare tactics and were upfront and honest. They were also the only company to use a laser level and show me the sag difference in my joists that I was experiencing. I hired mid-state basement systems to do crawl space support and repair on my load bearing wall in my basement. MY PROBLEM WAS UNIQUE AS LOAD BEARING WALLS NORMALLY DO NOT NEED TO BE REPAIRED LIKE THIS!
