Born in the wake of this disastrous event, Mill Creek Project now stands to protect the city from floods like this. The project is first and foremost a flood control project, constructed to protect the City of Walla Walla and adjacent lands from flooding. 2/3

In 1931, a torrent of brown water roared down Mill Creek, with water levels rising at a rate of one foot per hour. The water escaped the confines of the riverbanks and rushed through the City of Walla Walla, Washington, destroying homes, roads and bridges. 1/3

. work continues on the site of the new Louisville VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky, Feb. 1. The new 104-bed, full-service hospital will provide world-class healthcare to more than 45,000 veterans. Construction is anticipated to be completed in 2026.

The team dedicated 3 hours to clear debris on 1.25 miles and re-blaze 2.75 miles of trail. Their hard work made this effort efficient and fun! Now this section of the trail is usable and easier to navigate for visitors! We appreciate our #volunteers! #ESSAYONS! #Recreation 2/2

Dr. Christine Altendorf, USACE Director of Military Programs, recently visited sites in Florida where USACE is working in support of Space Force.
Dr. Altendorf receives an updated project status for the DLA JP-8 Fuel Storage Tank replacement project by the USACE Project Delivery Team at Patrick Space Force Base, FL.
Dr. Altendorf meets with the USACE Project Delivery Team and the Integrated Capabilities Office at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The team discussed ongoing and future construction projects at Cape Canaveral.
