The p≡p foundation advocates Privacy.
p≡p stands for pretty Easy privacy.
p≡p wants to change the default in written digital communications: from unencrypted, unverified and unanonymized to encrypted, verified and anonymized.

Being a non-profit, tax-free organization based in Switzerland the p≡p foundation:

• owns and develops p≡p's core code (engine / adapters)
• supports Free and Open Source Software (FOSS),
• facilitates and coordinates code audits as well as   
• engages in political activities to protect the Human Rights to Privacy, Freedom of Information and Freedom of Speech.

p≡p's core is distributed as Free Software to support Privacy for everyone. With that p≡p aims to restore the balance again in worldwide communications in favor of Privacy and Freedom of Information.
