Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup
It wasn't an emergency so we scheduled it out a few days to fit our schedule. We picked the time window and they called us 45 minutes ahead. Robbie (Tech #3430) arrived within the time window and very close to the time we were given. He found the clog and cleared the drain. But what I learned about their services is more important. I will be calling them the next time I need emergency plumbing service. They have 24 hour service without the emergency fee

Very professional. Very knowledgable. Really nice people. Great job on the plumbing. April 2014 Sump pump issues I called them after hours. They came to my house right away. I was SO grateful that I was able to get such a quick response. It is stressful when you are having a flood in your basement. They fixed the problem and took all the stress away for a great price. DEC 2012: Bigger project I knew to call Plumb Right in 2014 because of my great experience with them a year and half earlier in 2012. I had a few plumbers give me estimates on a job that included re-plumbing an entire bathroom and installing lines behind the wall, re-setting the toilet, installing the pedestal sink, installing water lines and hardware for the sink and shower. The guys from the other companies that gave me the first estimates talked about ripping out the flooring and moving the toilet drain/line. They talked about moving the shower lines to another wall. They TOLD me what they were going to do and wanted me to sign contracts right away and I did not think they had a very professional approach. I felt uneasy so I did the right thing, followed my gut feeling and told them I wasn't ready to make a decision. I found PLUMB RIGHT on ANGIES LIST. They had a great rating. Plumb Right guys came to my house right away, looked at the project, talked to me about it on a level I could understand, they talked to me about the pros and cons of ripping up the floor etc. They told me they could do that if I wanted but that in their professional and experienced opinion, it would be unnecessary and expensive. I did sign on with Plumb Right. They did SUCH a great job from being prompt, clean and professional and leaving me with obviously top notch quality of work. They installed all the lines, sink, toilet, hardware. I paid MUCH less for Plumb Right and I have no doubt I got the best people for the job. Their number is in my phone

Although this repair cost an arm and a leg due to the holiday weekend/emergency upcharge (I think it was more than time-and-a-half), we were very pleased with the responsiveness (same-day), punctuality (within hours) and quality of work completed. There's no sugar-coating it, these guys saved our lives on Memorial Day weekend at our rental property! We were there for a final cleaning before welcoming tenants the following AM and there was a significant, fluke plumbing issue (likely caused by a recent bathroom upgrade that might have accidently jarred a very, very old pipe). It was a holiday weekend and we had to get it resolved ASAP. It was a Murphy's Law situation -- and these guys saved the day and did great work. It was very expensive, but in this case, it was our only option. I"m not sure how their non-emergency pricing compares to others out there

The response was great. They responded within 24 hours(this wasn't an emergency). He replaced the leaking sillcock, the pipe from the existing back to the shutoff(it wasn't code)and he replaced the shutoff valve. I also asked for some pricing on a couple other services for future work and he was prompt with his estimates. Total duration for the service call was two hours. The total was $457 of which $320 was labor. I little high for labor costs, but Norblom does great work

I contacted Norblom after hours due to an emergency plumbing leak. Left a message and got a call back within minuted. Told us there would be an after hours charge, and helped us make changes so we could handle overnight. Promptly called us the following morning, were flexible to our schedule, and professionally fixed the leak and additionally cleared a slow drain. And the price we paid was reasonable for the supplies and amount of time they were here. We trusted Angies list as we had never used this plumber before, and we were not disappointed. I bought a new home and we knew that there was some plumbing issues that we wanted to get someone working on right away. Before we got moved in we had Billy and Howard come out to put in the kitchen sink in and to fix the leak in bathroom sink. When they arrived, they realized that I had ordered the wrong size kitchen sink. They were incredibly gracious about my mistake and went above and beyond duty to help get the right measurements and to talk me through what I should be looking for. We moved into the house on Tuesday. On Friday, after shower and a load of laundry I noticed water coming up out of the main drain. I am a first time homeowner, I had no idea what that meant. I did another load of laundry after mopping up the floor and confirmed that the water was coming up from the drain, not coming from the washer. I called and got Chris to come out to take a look at it. Chris could not have been more kind, more reassuring, and quick at solving problems (and there were several, like the previous owner cementing over the access drain). I cannot recommend this company enough. As a person who knows nothing about plumbing, I was really impressed by how well Billy, Chris, and Howard were able to explain what was happening, what my options were, what the risks were, and frankly that they were able to do all of that without a tinge of condescension. I discovered the kitchen sink pull-out spigot in my hand with the base unit squirting late Fri. night. I decided to figure it out & fix it myself Sat. morning. I had difficulty fishing out the disconnected hose from down inside the base unit. So I called in a pro to do it & to check my non-working water softener on the same service call. All the List's top-rated plumbers in my vicinity could not come until Mon. or Tue. So we had a non-working kitchen sink, growing kitchen disorder, & an looming Sun. dinner to host. So I kept dialing plumbers. Tim from Markham courteously listened to my tale of woe. He promised to contact his workers to help me that day (Sat.). Tim called back soon & said he was unable to provide service that day, but would be willing to do it the next day (Sun.) without an emergency surcharge. Since Markham had an A rating on the List, I was impressed & eagerly accepted. Tim arrived promptly & completed the work professionally within the 1-hour minimum as agreed

I had Metro Heating and cooling install a Ream a 96% efficiency furnace and high efficiency Ream hot water heater, Eric did the estimate and very knowledgeable and professional, Cory and Mike did the final install, with Tim doing a few last minute bits of tuning, a very talented technician. and I was so impressed with the quality of workmanship and professionalism from all these gentleman. Ron Schardt, their sales representative, came to our home and designed a new HVAC system based around a heat pump. Their installation was complicated by our need to have a separate plumber come in and repair a water main behind the existing furnace. On the day of the installation, they arrived exactly when they said they would, made allowances for the plumber to do his work, and left the work area cleaner than when they started. Their commitment to customer service is unmatched and with their 10-year unlimited warranty and 24/7 service availability, in our opinion, they are the best in their industry. I discovered in the middle of the night that I had no water from any of my faucets. I assumed my pipes were frozen, and called Mr. Rooter since they had 24-hour emergency service. The VERY kind woman I talked with said that it was OK to wait until morning and that she would send someone by at 8. Around 4AM the water was back and I called her to cancel. She suggested that someone come by anyway--no charge--just to check and figure out what had happened. She called around 8 to say that Stephen would be there in about 15 minutes. He arrived--also very kind and friendly--asked me questions (e.g., water sputtered when it first came back), said that the water had been turned off, that I was not actually at risk of frozen pipes (the location of my condo unit), and left. So no work actually performed, but a very favorable impression! (The city had turned the water off to do some work and had left notes on people's doors, but for some reason not on mine

They came out late on Saturday after the basement was cleared of water by excellent staff at ServiceMaster. They worked late into Saturday night to clear the main drain so that I could use my water. They came later that week to fix the running toilet. I was so grateful for how hard they worked, how efficient they were, the honest advice, and the reasonable price. They are always my first call whenever I have an issue, small or large. From a leaky pipe to this emergency.
