Minneapolis Gutter Glove LLC

The heat tape was installed on 10/2/20 but I'm just now testing the result with recent snow accumulations. So far so good. I was very happy to work with David Lund. He's very knowledgeable and professional. He answered all my questions and concerns and his installer was top notch. Everything fell together as he projected. He even arranged for a very competent and reasonable electrician to install an outdoor outlet which was needed to complete my job.

The work was excellent and the fine filters of the gutter glove material has been outstanding. Very happy with the result.

Dave Lund is one of those gruff old solid citizens that are always a pleasure to do business with. I had tested about 20' of Gutter Glove at our lake home for maybe 5 years and was pleased with it so Gutter Glove was my first call for our "city home.". I did talk to a couple of other vendors like Gutter Helmet but after some "discussion" Dave's price was clearly the best value and a structurally superior product. This winter (2016-7) will tell the tale but the installation went smoothly and a couple of small follow-up issues were dealt with promptly. Dave even made a repair to an existing downspout that was not covered in the quotation. I didn't even ask him about it until after he'd been paid. No problem Job done. No charge.

Great experience. Dave was on-time for all appointments, had one of the more competitive estimates we received, and did a great job documenting the estimate. I was a bit concerned about the install given the height of our home, but it was no problem for the crew, and in every other respect the install went perfectly. Dave had good follow-up after the job was completed. Needless to say, we really liked working with Dave and his guys, and I would definitely recommend them.

Dave was out a few times. The first time was to look at my Metro Steel Shingle roof and see if they could do a Gutter Glove installation on it. He assured me that they could. He also came out during the install and after it was done. I had looked at many other products, and felt that Gutter Glove was the top of the line. They are a bit pricey, but I also felt that they were the best value for my money. The crew did a very nice thorough job on the install, as it was not easy on that roof. I would highly recommend them.

Recently I had a lot of problem with ice dams on the north side of my home. I had 5 top roofing companies look at the damage in my home and requested quotes to fix the problem. They all told me that I had house maintenance problem and winter roof raking was the only solution. I agreed that ice dams were part of the problem. But I was sure the flashings around the dormers were the major cause of the damage in my home. Again, I had a maintenance problem so I conceded. Since I did not want to rake my roof or pay some to do it so I search for another solution. I found information online about heated gutters and came across ice dam solutions MN. Dave Lund was quick to respond and I made an appointment with him for a presentation on this system. It made sense to me and I moved forward with the work. When the installers arrived to start the work there was a problem with my flashing and the needed to be repaired before work could begin. Really 5 top roofing companies could not see this? Not only did Gutter Glove install the heated panels they installed the flashings for a reasonable price and replaced damaged dormer shingles. I am very happy with the professional service I received Dave Lund and Gutter Glove. The system is guaranteed. They did a good job on cleanup. I would recommend them highly they know their business, they know roofs! Although the true test of the system will be this winter. I really believe I have seen the last of ice dams on my roof. Very nice job on the gutter installation. I had a couple of small concerns with Gutterglove installation but they came back right away and fixed the issues. Dave came out to make sure I was completely satisfied with the installation. Instillation took two days and was delayed slightly by bad weather.

i was tired of ice buildup and cleaning my gutters all the time so I decided to put this system in. The material is high quality and comes with a number of warranties. It is spend y though. A friend of mine had this company install the system and is very happy.. I had the heat cords installed with the system for the ice buildup The crew was on time and professional and did a good job of cleanup. The only suggestion for this companies business model would be for Dave to climb the ladder and inspect how his crew installed all the sections. I told Dave that if the system is not installed properly it can cause problems. He was taken back when i said this but I said go ogle it on the internet and you will find this problem. On the plus side my friend has had to have a couple of adjustments on his system and Dave has been there to rectify. The other thing I wasn't crazy about was putting half down for the job. I thought that was a little steep but i sense Dave is running a small company. As to how it works I need a good winter to give the full report
