Mike C showed up on Friday and got started right away on the electrical work. After much struggle (broken drill bit, problems running the wire) and cutting a hole in the family room wall, he called HC to get an electrician to come out. This was scheduled for Monday. Mike did have a helper who did the staining of the windows. Unfortunately the bay window turned out badly due to the window manufacture, not anything Mike or his helper did. Mike was real helpful in trying to figure out how to make it look nice but to no avail. Andersen Windows did come out to the house and look at the problem and determine it was their problem and will replace the seat and ceiling of the bay. The electrician, Lee, was able to do the electrical work in quick fashion. This resulted in an extra charge from the original quote. He did an excellent job! Mike finished varnishing the windows on Monday and completed drywalling the hole in the family room wall on Tuesday. Did a nice job cleaning up. Overall, I'm glad the work is done. The windows - after looking at them closer, the staining and varnishing could be better; I will be touching up the varnish (that is why I gave the 'B' in quality). I would hire Handyman Connection for other projects if the need arises

Foundation totally gone. Schumm cleaned area down to the footings and rebuilt the foundation. Schumm also repaired a retaining wall and parge coated the wall. I am very happy with the quality of the work and the finished look of the retaining wall.

I LOOKED AT THEM AND LIKED THEM VERY MUCH, BUT IN THE END DECIDED AGAINST A ROCK WALL AND WENT WITH SOMEONE ELSE. I JUST THOUGHT OF HIM AS A ROCK WALL GUY AND FORGOT HE DOES ALL SORTS OF WALLS. The company that designed and installed my new back yard brought Brian in to build a small boulder retaining wall with granite steps. Brian is a true craftsman! He handpicked each of the 70 or so boulders so their size and color complemented each other, and also chose two large granite boulders to incorporate into the wall as steps. He did the installation himself. He carefully situated each boulder as he built the wall so that they fit together perfectly. The wall is beautiful, and the rock colors are perfect! I would definitely hire Brian in the future

The new walls and steps are beautiful and functional. Goodfellows gave us a good analysis of the project and a good explanation of our choices. We scheduled an early season installation to minimize stress to a mature garden. The first day, Goodfellows moved and stored already-growing perennials, demolished both walls and rebuilt the upper wall. Then it rained for days. When Goodfellows was able to return five days later, the crew built two sets of steps and the lower wall and cleaned up the site in just two days. They had cleaned up as they worked, and left the site in very good condition. The day after the walls were completed, we were able to replant the terrace gardens

Kurt is very professional and responsive to all our questions and gave us some useful direction in what was possible in a touch-up job. our paint is about 13 years old and we didn't want a complete job--just freshen up the interior and take care of any bare wood or peeling paint outside. make it look good but we didn't want to change colors and repaint everything. we're very satisfied

The night they came out to give us the bid, he was on time. Very friendly. We discussed our options on colors and patterns for the stamped concrete. A suggestion was made to make the entrance steps wider. We did that and are very happy. We accepted the bid and discussed when the work would be scheduled. I was waiting to put my flowers in until after the work, otherwise my flowers would be in the way the crew doing their job. I got a call a couple of weeks later saying they could move our work date up so I could get my flowers in before Memorial Day. I appreciated that. They came to do the work on the scheduled date. When they tore out the concrete that another company had installed 4 years ago, they found it did not have any mesh or re-bar in it. That is why it was cracking so badly. That is a shortcut that other company took to save themselves some money. The next day they showed up on time, worked quickly and finished the job. The concrete looks great. We are happy

Ben did a great job. He installed the outdoor light and cleaned up after. He repaired the walls after moving the shelf and cleaned up the area. The repair of the wall required removing nails and patching the holes. The front door is requiring scraping off of old paint. Ben did a good job and cleanup. Exceeded expectations! Andrew and his team were able to level and add supports to our floor to carry the load of a kitchen island that was part of our kitchen renovation. Flooring companies were only able to offer a band-aid fix that did not address the cause or offer a permanent solution. We were so thankful to find Andrew and his team of experts at Load Bearing Wall Company. They understand that level floors are key to a structurally sound home. They also installed a 14 ft. steel beam that repaired structural damage and allow us to realize our open concept dream kitchen. I would hire them again without reservation. They do all types of landscaping. I had an agreement with them that if it snows an inch, they would come and plow my driveway. They have been here a lot lately. I pay $25 when they come out. The person I have been dealing with came out and gave me an estimate. I have been working with him for three years. He is very reliable. He knows that I leave for work at 7 in the morning and so he usually takes care of the plowing before that. Once earlier this year it had snowed a few inches, but then it got warm. So he called me to find out if it had melted or if I still wanted him to come

Randy's estimate was spot on and his employees were great. Very professional. They answered all my questions and did a fantastic job on the wall. They arrived when they said they would and finished the wall in 2 days. One of the guys came back 2 days later to caulk the gap because the cement had to dry first. They cleaned up everything and, since they used my garden hose, they coiled it up for me. (I never coil it--it's a pain) They left the work site cleaner than they found it

Debbie and her crew were excellent. Debbie provided an estimate within the same week that I called, and was able to schedule the work in between two other projects we were doing. One of those projects was installing a fence along the same property line where the retaining wall was being replaced, and they worked with the company installing the fence to make sure the location of the fence posts would be as close to the retaining wall (and property line) as possible. Debbie's crew completed the work over two days in really cold weather. The first day they removed the old wall, dug out the locations for the fence posts, and began laying the new retaining wall. Overnight, my neighbor expressed concerns about the location of the wall (she felt it was on her property, though I think it was right on the line and in the exact location of the old wall). When they returned in the morning, the crew talked with her about her concerns, took responsibility for the location, and got her to agree to moving the wall 6 inches towards my yard. They finished up the work that day, did not charge me anything extra for the additional time, and it looks great. I plan to call them this spring for help with landscaping in our front yard

They did not color match my wall well and it looked like my wall has an infection. They tried to repair, but it still does not look great. If I would have known they had trouble matching colors I would have sat out there and picked the brick to replace in the wall.
