salesman did not follow-through on verbal commitments. Under-decking is so bad I will need to hire a better contractor to fix and replace. Anything beyond very basic deck construction was a challenge for the contractor; they use sub-contractors to do the work. Damaged house siding. Errors in design had to be corrected during construction, changed to a lower cost design; contractor kept savings.

CSC Remodelers performs a final "walk through" and an official completion certificate to the homeowners for each of the projects that we complete. We were unaware that there were any issues with this project until we recieved a check for payment in full from the homeowner through the mail. The person simply came out to bid a job, and was surprised that I asked him to take an overview and prioritize the list of exterior repairs. He had no intention of drawing up plans, and said that would cost a lot more. Since we could not agree at all, I asked for a refund of what I had paid. The worker readily agreed, and took off. The company was slower to refund, and required several phone calls, and demands. Very unpleasant.

It went very well. They were very pleasant and got the job done. They finished on time for when they said they would. I was leery of contractors until i went through the process with them. They were helpful the whole way through the process and answered any questions i had and never left me hanging. I would continue to go through CSC Exteriors for any new projects and recommend them to anyone else who has a project coming up.

Last year the wife and I decided that we needed a home make-over. We shopped around and got 4 estimates, we then sat down and went over the 4 companies. CSC wasn't the cheapest, but wasn't the most expensive either. When Bruce came out to our house to give us the estimate, we felt very secure with him. He was honest and went through the estimate with us step by step. He showed us the trouble spots that needed the repairs ASAP, and parts of the house that weren't in such dyer need. Bruce in my opinion is the most honest, trusting person in the business. This whole project took about 6 weeks start to finish, even though it was 20 below the workers were there installing the insulation. The windows in our old house were leaking air so bad it would bow out the plastic that we had on them. The new Richland 900 series that they installed are amazing! No more plastic windows in this house. The roof was completed in 3 days due to them having to put down a tarp and heat up the roof because of the weather. All in all it was one of the smoothest jobs that I've had done. Even though I didn't want to drop as much as I did, but I know in the long run I just doubled my house value, and I got high quality products installed by professionals. I want to thank Bruce again for being straight forward, honest, and professional at his job and making this remodel project a smooth and fun experience. [member name removed]

First, I would say that the three guys that came were friendly and congenial. They checked a spot where we had a small leak on a fairly new roof. However, in the process of doing that, they informed me that I needed several thousand dollars more in upgrading the attic insulation (which was added only two years previously) and that I needed a new bathroom fan. In general, it felt like I paid $99 to have them make a sales call. Thus the "C" overall.

Purchased a roof inspection deal. Original visit in October 2014, they did not bring a ladder for a 2-story home. Said they would call back to reschedule, did not. I called and rescheduled, for early November. Snowed on the scheduled date, they did not call to notify that they would not be there and did not call to reschedule, again forcing me to call to reschedule for Summer 2015. They did honor the original deal, but I was forced to continue the follow-ups. They would have simply collected the amount and let the deal lapse.

I paid for roof inspection and maintenance. The repairs on the roof were never done. The person they sent offered to do some independent work at a lower price which he started, but never finished. When I tried to contact him again, he had quit CSC and I could not locate and the work never got done, so I never really got the roof work done.

They offered a bid, which we agreed to. We signed a contract, but the company representative did not. According to the contract, since the company did not sign it, it is not legally binding. We paid a deposit for the work. Circumstances with the company and at home had changed, so we asked to change the contract, and we asked for our deposit back, which the company agreed to. It's been about a month since he agreed to send us a check to return our deposit, but now he is not returning our calls or emails, and the deposit has not been returned. Before I asked for our deposit back, they had been very responsive and professional, but since I asked for a refund, this has not been the case.

Nate was wonderful and I am really glad he came a little later. Adam was not very professional. He left cigarette butts in my yard, the smoke came in through the windows, and when he dropped the insulation hose through an upper window, he smashed three of my flowers in my garden. He also mentioned that he couldn't wait to get a "real job" and that there was a lot of turn around. He also left black smudges from his shoes and hands all over my walls near the attic opening. Nate, on the other hand, was great. He apologized for Adam killing my flowers. He also reminded Adam to vacuum up his mess both upstairs and downstairs. If he hadn't done that, I believe Adam would have left an even bigger mess.

Csc exteriors, three appointments broke each one, said couldn't do it. reimbursed, they called a fourth time they found the problem and they would come out and do inspection for free, they were worried about feedback came out and resolved the issue. (on the fourth attempt).

They set up appointments and did not show up 3 times.And then on 6/15/2015 they want to refund the money for me with an apologize. I was agreed to take the refund. But about three days later, they sent an email to me saying they would offer me a free service without any charge On 6/18/2015 they sent a guy who came to my house , climbed to the roof and stayed over there about 5 minutes, without inspecting anything, and then went down, and went home. The whole story are still in the mail box of the Angie's List. Now I want the CSC Exterior refund to me 111.00 USD as the company has promised.

Everyone was trying to sell me insulation. They both agreed on the same measurements and even the price. Everybody gave ridiculous price and some ridiculous measurements. There was very little difference between the two because I was always trying to get different opinion; they both came with different prices and I'm not using either one of them. In the city where I live, I get some sort of independent who is not trying to sell me anything but is sponsored by the energy company to do an assessment.

After going up in the attic, looking around, taking pictures, etc., the contractor said we needed a whole new roof and all new insulation in the attic. I, of course, was shocked, but followed up with our roofer (since our roof was only 5 years old and still under warranty) and he confirmed that it was condensation causing the wetness. We have since had a few other inspections due to selling our house and all confirmed that our roof and attic are in good condition with no issues and we just had an issue with condensation due to our humidity settings in our home (which we have since adjusted).

The inspector said he was impressed with the insulation already in place, it was in pretty good shape. They quoted us a price on adding additional insulation. Although adding some insulation might have relieved some ice jam problems, we decided the expense wasn't worth it (our association takes care of the ice dams.) I didn't know how to answer the "Will you use provider in the future" question, because we chose not to get the work done (and probably never will.)

I originally purchased a Big Deal for a roof inspection. We scheduled the date and I made sure to be available. They sent me a msg on the morning of the visit to tell me they couldn't make it because their roof guy was injured and they hadn't found a quality replacement yet. They said they could reschedule or refund my money. My calendar was packed to the distant future, so I requested a refund. A couple weeks went by and no refund. I sent several Angie's List msgs and no response. I finally called them and they said I had to request my refund through Angie's List. It would have been great if they had told me that before or responded to my Angie's List msgs. Anyway, I got my refund. They contacted me and said to make up for the bad experience, they wanted to give me the inspection for free. I accepted and scheduled a day for it. The morning of the scheduled day they called and said they had a job on the other side of town and asked if I could schedule to a different day. I told them no, but they could come any time that day. They called me back a little while later and said they were on their way over. The actual inspection went well. I had a great conversation with the individual. He was professional, courteous, personable and gave the impression that he was knowledgeable. We discussed his findings and he said he'd send me a report. The inspection didn't yield any issues, so it's good to know that he didn't try to "discover" problems to sell me services. In fact, he told me that my roof was good for another 10-15 years as long as I kept it up and brought them in early if I saw a few key warning signs. I bumped them down from an A to a B on responsiveness and punctuality because of the initial communication and scheduling issues. But I give them credit for making it up to me by giving me the service for free, so they get an overall A. I do plan on calling them first for any roof issues.

I have had three different appointments scheduled with this provider. On May 26, 2015 they rescheduled due to rain and I completely understood that. Then on June 1st they were suppose to come back out but they did not show up. The provider apologized and said that they were going to refund me the $111.00 I had already spent and that they would reschedule the appointment. They did not show up again on June 11th. When I called they said that they didn't even have an appt scheduled and that they were only going to refund my money. I had to take three afternoons off work and then had absoltely no work completed. Also, they sent me a cancellation notice at 10:24 PM for June 11th. That was so late in the evening that I did not get it.

Where to get started. I purchased the deal and some time passed. I called the company three times and my wife sent them an e-mail. Finally got someone to acknowledge the communication. Was then told that we didn't purchase any service through Angies list. Hmmm. I have multiple e-mails and receipts including an e-mail from Ryan (the one telling me that I didn't buy anything). So now I get a time scheduled for 6/12 10:00 am. Finally getting somewhere, right? Wrong. 6/12 11:00 no one is at our house and I get a phone call from the CEC asking if anyone had got ahold of us. Nope, no phone calls from anyone. Turns out that Ryan is now AWOL and we have no one coming out. Lance is now who I am talking and he's very apologetic but that means nothing. Actions are all that matter. He is now setting up a new appt. for someone to come out and fulfill the job. We'll see how that goes and I might update the review. Up until Lance, Ryan was the only correspondence with the company. If that is what you want to call it.

They kept promising to send someone to do the job but never did. They kept promising to refund my money but never did (I had to go to Angie's List to get the refund). I would never use this contractor again. Service was as bad as it gets.

Purchased the Big Deal and got a call to set up an appointment. When the appointment time came, no one showed up. Called them back and they said they were having some problems with their employees and would contact me again when they hired some new workers. About two weeks later I got a phone call that they were ready to reschedule. When the second appointment time came, no one showed up. Contacted them again and they said they would be happy to refund my money. After a week, I called back and they apologized and said they would get right on the refund. They did not. I had to call Angie's List and got a refund from them.

It went poorly. I bought a "big deal" for a siding quote and adding a gabled dormer over my front door. After initially meeting with CSC they failed to follow up with a proposal on the dormer or the rendering/drawing of the new siding and dormer So, to sum it up; I paid them $55 to waste 4 hours of my PTO to not provide me the drawing or even submit a full quote. I followed up 4 several times and they kept telling me a unicorn would call me to follow up... I call this person a unicorn because I have only heard tales of him. I have talked to several other siding companies and there are some good ones out there.... CSC does not seem to be one of them.

Contractor did not show at the appointed time, however 40 minutes after the scheduled time I received a call from Ryan of CSC Exteriors asking if "Adam had shown up?" I indicated he did not, and was promised a return call. CSC Exteriors did not call later that day or the following day to offer any explanation or apologize. Since no services were rendered, I phoned them today to request a full refund. No one answered so I left a message to advise of the refund request and unfavorable review.

CSC arrived on time but wanted to look in the attic first to assess insulation - then wrote estimate for insulation. Said he couldn't inspect the roof because he didn't have a tall enough latter but said it looked in very good condition from the ground. I did get him up on the porch finally and from there he said the main roof was in TERRIBLE shape and due to hail storm. So I have insurance inspection, adjuster said damage was not from hail, CSC guy told me he would communicate with my insurer and was confident he could get this assessment changed. Weeks went by and I heard nothing. Called and was told I had to sign a waver to allow CSC guy to speak on my behalf with insurer. After that, told me insurer was not returning his calls. Finally I called insurer and they had no record of him contacting them. I spoke with CSC manager several times and was assured manager would take care of it personally. Still nothing. Finally, I asked for a refund after many conversations with manager. Told refund would show on my credit card but it might take a couple months. Never credited. Called Anjie's List and they . Aside from not getting the minor maintenance & repeatedly being lied to by the employee and the manager, the worst is that they wasted HOURS and HOURS of my time. wa

I used this provider in February and purchased another Big Deal through this provider. We scheduled an appointment and they didn't show up. This appointment was confirmed for the 13th of April and they did not even call to say that they would not be able to make the appointment. Then we rescheduled for April 20th but they didn't show up again.

They were helpful. I got very ill that day and had to go to the hospital during when the inspection was scheduled so I had to call and asked if they could do it, just walk around without me there and maybe on the phone. It was the cheapest. It was very affordable. I'd give them all A's.
