"Rich was very responsive to our request since we had evidence of leaking. He was very thorough and took time to explain the work and the pricing options. His price was competitive with another company but because of Rich's customer service we went with Newton Roofing Residential. The company took care of the city permit, had the dumpster onsite early in the morning, crew was there early and worked incredibly hard from 7 am to 4 pm. "From start to finish Evans did an excellent job. Good communication with patience to answer many questions, quick response time, and willingness to revise quotes with scope changes. Material showed up early on scheduled day of project, and crew showed up for an early start. Team worked hard, was organized and efficient throughout, and the details to put the homeowner at ease were greatly appreciated. This included moving deck furniture further away from house, and completely tarping over wood deck. Site was left very clean after work completed in one day - all materials removed, area was swept, and roof looked great.show more

"Steve did another excellent job for us (his second job for us). &nbsp;This was a large project with a full size barn, two car attached garage/breezeway, and 1760's colonial house. &nbsp;He removed all the old roofing, with 4 or five layers on the house, and replaced with asphalt and reflashed the large center chimney. &nbsp;He accomplished this with his team of about 4 within about three weeks of starting. &nbsp;He even came back to replace the barn lightning rods after one part needed replacement for collateral damage, and resided part of the barn next to the garage where reflashing was needed. &nbsp;As usual his price was fair, and the quality excellent. &nbsp;Very highly recommended <br />show more

"We had our decks demolished and rebuilt by another contractor earlier this Summer. Said contractor, in the process, removed significant portions of our vinyl siding and was not able/willing to replace them. I reached out to numerous Boston-area vinyl siding contractors, only to have almost 100% of them tell me the "job was too small" for them to consider. I was becoming concerned that nobody would be willing to replace our siding when I found Diamond Construction. John came out to assess the project and our needs and spent time speaking with us about the scope/execution of the project. We made him aware of our budget, and he was sensitive and responsive to our financial limitations. The work was completed in a professional, workmanlike, timely manner. John and his staff (Erika and the crew) maintained great communication throughout the entire process from the before we even signed the contract all the way through the end of completion. We were extremely pleased with the results of the vinyl siding repair/replacement performed by Diamond and plan to use them again in the future to replace an old bay window in the front of our apartment, as well as our old sliding glass door in back, once our budget permits. We will also recommend Diamond Construction to friends and family. "Fantastic experience!&nbsp;The owner Elmer Solano was friendly,&nbsp;returned communications promptly, showed up when he said he would,&nbsp;was onsite working alongside the crew all day long, and&nbsp;left the property in pristine condition. &nbsp;His pricing was&nbsp;extremely reasonable, using&nbsp;&nbsp;the exact same&nbsp;high quality&nbsp;line of&nbsp;materials promoted by other roofers &nbsp;as&nbsp;"premium quality materials" without charging&nbsp;&nbsp;their&nbsp;premium prices. &nbsp;He brought a ladder as well as a satellite image of my roof&nbsp;and actually went into my attic to come up with&nbsp;an estimate ( unlike the other roofers&nbsp;giving estimates). &nbsp;He&nbsp;gave me&nbsp;a clear picture of the different pricing options &nbsp;depending on how much wood might be needed&nbsp;then stuck exactly to the estimate he gave.
