Checked all windows for air leaks, and detailed all wiring upgrades and fail-safes in electric box. I've worked with this company in previous moves in other states, and picked them here because of those past experiences....and again, I was not disappointed

Scott came to provide a free inspection and estimate. He approached the project as if it was his own home and provided recommendations on exactly what was needed. The project was a bit challenging because the crawl space is completely inaccessible on all outside wall exposures. Estimate based on agreed recommendations was received in 3 days. Crew showed up on the scheduled date on time and completed the project within the 2 day estimate. Crew was exceptional, professional, and courteous. Despite the location of the crawl space and the significant amount of dirt, dust, and mud involved, left the project with little clean up to complete. Baker was the only contractor to provide a full solution to my crawl space problem, were the most price competitive, and provided a warranty unmatched by other contractors

Essential Home Inspections
Great job performed by company. The gentleman performing our inspection had a background in engineering and construction. So he really knew his stuff! They showed up 15 minutes early and went straight to work. We stayed with the inspector while he did his work. He explained things as he moved throughout the house and answered our questions. He climbed up on roof and into crawl space to physically exam those areas. He discovered many items both wrong and right with the home we had not realized. We got a very detailed report as that evening. Originally we were told would get next day

We hired Ed to conduct our home inspection based on his other reviews. We are very happy that we hired him and with the work that he conducted. We weren't able to be there for the entire inspection, but did join him during the end. He took the time to walk us around the property and review all of the items that were of concern to him. He also mentioned that based on his inspection of the crawl space that he did recommend mold testing, which we went ahead and had him do. The mold testing did come back positive so we're glad that he made the recommendation. Overall, he did a great job and we felt that he was very honest and up front with us

The Inspector is the owner, Michael Ashburn. This was actually the third home inspection he had done for me in the past 6 months, the other 2 deals falling through for various reasons. Michael called ahead to let me know he was running 5 minutes late. He is very efficient, by which I mean fast and thorough. He had no problem with me walking around with him and hanging over his shoulder and would often pause to point out items he was planning on writing up. Mr. Ashburn is smaller in stature, and is therefore not slow to duck into a crawl space or jump into an attic. Great personality and very accommodating to his client. He does have an Infrared Camera, which is one powerful tool (I am a certified Infrared Thermographer myself) for checking moisture and missing insulation. He provides his handwritten notes to you before leaving the property and emails a typed report within 24 hours. He does not include photos in his report, which I wish he would (maybe there's a legal reason for this...). Overall a great experience working with Mr. Ashburn - recommended

The inspection went very well. When we arrived at the house for the inspection he was already there early inspecting some of the outside areas of the house and had already checked the roof. He was very knowledgeable on all the various components of the house (construction, electrical, heating, cooling, roofing, etc.). He explained in detail all the important features and even how to perform future maintenance on the heating, cooling systems, and hot water systems. The inspection was very thorough and lasted about 3 hours. He inspected every inch of the house even small attic crawl spaces that one might overlook. We were very pleased with the inspection and certainly no potential issues were overlooked. The inspector was very polite and took the extra effort to make sure my wife and I understood everything he was looking at and why

Allegiance Home Inspection
First off, I needed an inspection on my new home just prior to the expiration of my one year workmanship warranty with the builder. Josh (owner) provided me with a thorough report of several issues that I would not have discovered on my own as some of them were on the roof, some were in crawl spaces, and some were simply my lack of knowledge in terms of whether or not something was done correctly (workmanship, code, etc.). I am now in a better position to go back to the builder and get the issues Josh uncovered and documented in his report fixed now vs. me having to pay to get them fixed at some later date - at my expense. Working with Ed was a great experience. He gave us ideas for future improvement, suggestions for upkeep of the property, and answered all of our questions. His knowledge is second to none, and was very professional. He was there on time and took us through every step of the inspection. He performed mold tests in the attic and crawl space, radon testing, and termite testing as well. The finshed report was excellent, it was great to have a written reference of all the topics discussed throughout the inspection. It went well. Brandon is a little difficult to get ahold of, but be patient with him, he will get back to you. He and his workers showed up on time, work very hard and long hours. I hired him for just the crawl space, but after he gave me a written quote and I accepted, he said he would do my entire basement. 1. Explained everything to me during initial estimate. Gave me general price when first meeting. Explained everything that needed done. 2. Showed up first day on time and walked me through everything they were going to be doing. 3. Removed all debris in basement area and crawl space. Approximately 2 tons of dirt, old insulation, debris, etc. He even dug out a cement step outside my basement door and leveled it for me at NO EXTRA COST. 4. Dug out crawl space to have easier access to area. Had to hand dig out and use buckets to up and down steps. 5. Sprayed entire basement, crawl space, and coal cellar with serum to kill mold 6. Scubbed area until mold was gone. 7. Cleaned up old paint and ran filters to clean air overnight 8. Painted the entire basement, crawl space, and coal cellar. 9. Spray foamed crawl space and with left over sprayed floor joists in coal cellar and around basement 10. Installed 6ml vapor barrier. As I said, Brandon is sometimes difficult to get a hold of, that is the ONLY reason I gave him 1 B rating. He was not the cheapest, or the most expensive as I had approximately 7 estimates. He provided me with what I was most comfortable with. He and his men work very hard and long hours. I HIGHLY recommend him. Felt comfortable with them in my basement. I trusted him

Michael and I had met on a job site where my company was doing work. As Michael was performing his Energy Audit and building inspection I was absolutely amazed at what he was doing. He was climbing into crawl spaces I didn't even know exsisted, in attics, in walls, under floors, on the roof, in the chimney basically anywhere that his eye could see he looked in or at. I've been in the construction industry for approx 35yrs and have NEVER seen anyone do an inspection and audit like Michael did and does. I talked to Michael and he was so pleasant and extremely knowledgeable in all fields of construction/buildings. I in turn then asked Michael to come to my house and do an Energy Audit and Home Inspection. All I can say is if you want to learn about the structure that you live in and cherish CALL MICHAEL NOW! After he was done I was in shock on how much heat was being wasted and how much money was going out with it. Michael went through with his inferred testing equipment and it looked like ghost busters all over the exterior of the house. Michael went through every part of the house and explained how to rectify every situation that was causing heat loss. As he was doing the Energy Audit he did a Home Inspection and found that my heat exchanges in the furnance were leaking and carbon monoxide was entering the house! Michael got on the phone called a HVAC contractor he knew and had the problem solved that quick without missing a beat. That in my opnion is customer service at its finest! My Painting Company which is top rated on Angies List prides itself on customer service and we met our match with Michael!!!!!!! Our house is NOW SAFE and SAVING MONEY since Michael did what he knows best, saving lives and saving money!!!! If you read this you need to hire Michael and no other, because simply, he sets a standard that NO ONE can or could keep up with! Thank you Michael for a service that "Exceeded our expectations

Tony' and his crew was on time, polite and professional. The company estimated that the job would take 3-4 days and it took that long. Because my kitchen was sagging and some of the walls were cracked, they told me that they could not guarantee that they could lift the floor all the way to where it was. I was pleasantly surprised when many of the cracks were minimized and my kitchen floor was almost flush to the wall again. Everyone that I dealt with from Keystone was very polite, professional and skilled in basement repair. I checked out the finished work and it looks great down there! Would I use them agan? Absolutely. ( but I am hoping I won't have to). I have already recommended Keystone to one of my neighbors, who has similar basement problems

He simply went through all the elements of the home, noted any deficiencies and if possible, what could be done to correct these deficiencies if I so decided to go that route. I just wanted to take the time to thank A Better Choice Waterproofing for the great job they did on our basement! Bill (a VP) came out and did an estimate for us on our bowed and cracked wall. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accurately diagnosed the problem. The day they came to do the repair, Bill and his crew arrived, started working immediately, and did the job quickly with an emphasis on quality. All of the gentlemen were very friendly, helpful, and did a fantastic job! The price was definitely much lower than we were anticipating too, making it a great value. I would highly recommend them

A thorough job. No one wants to heat bad news, but you rather have early than find problems later. All the information turned out to conform with what we were finding out about the house. All of the possible issues were reviewed and covered in an extensive report with pictures of the issues found. Its not a big house, so the inspection did not take all that long. The inspectors were upfront about what they could not evaluate (solar panels on the roof, certain plumbing and electrical issues)
