Whether your objective is to become a member of the professional advertising community or a teacher of advertising, the Stan Richards School of Advertising & Public Relations offers a number of options for graduate study.
Graduate study in the Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences department prepares students for a future in clinical practice or teaching.
Graduate students in Communication Studies focus on communication theory and application. We offer three areas of concentration including Interpersonal, Organizational Communication and Technology, and Rhetoric and Language as well as strong specialties in health communication and political communication.
Whether you want to pursue a professional or research and teaching path in the field of journalism, graduate studies in the School of Journalism and Media can help you achieve your goals. Master’s degrees options include a professional master’s or a research and theory track. Doctoral studies prepare students for a career in academia.
Students in RTF graduate programs can delve into the creative expression or critical study of film and media. Each program provides the opportunity to study with top-notch faculty in a top 10 film program.
Jesse H. Jones Endowed Centennial Fellowships are awarded to graduate students who possess exceptional ability in advertising; speech, language, and hearing sciences; journalism and media; radio-television-film; and communication studies. The fellowships are awarded each Spring for the following academic year.
