True North is a resilience program that assigns mental health providers and religious support teams (RSTs) directly to Air Force squadrons, giving Service Members, DoD Civilians, and their authorized dependents increased access to care.  In-unit services include:

• Education & Team Building Activities

• Resources & Referrals

• Mental Health Counseling (Active Duty Only)

• Confidential Spiritual Counseling (ID cardholders/authorized dependents)

And much more!

Air Combat Command’s Integrated Resilience Operations Team and the Air Force Personnel Center's True North Program Office met with True North mental health providers at Offutt Air Force Base in November.  They discussed achievements, challenges, experiences and field feedback about embedded support. 

 

 

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas --  16th Air Force has become the first Numbered Air Force to have a True North Religious Support Team.  Click here to read about the team, their stand up and plans for future engagement.

 

DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. --  Dover Air Force Base is in the early stages of implementing True North, an embedded mental and spiritual health support program created by the U.S. Air Force to provide tools and resources to help increase resiliency of Airmen within a unit.  Click here to learn about True North, the team and their goals.
