Martin did a great job. Two points in particular, 1) competitive quote. 2) Martin tried his best to reduce the cost for me. Specifically, the power line running to the thermostat was a bit short. One option was to replace it with a longer line, which would have cost more on top of the initial quote. Martin tried two different locations to place the thermostat and managed to install it in full compliance with safety rules, all without having to add a longer power line. Really appreciated his effort

Carlos is the man! He took care of my family and transformed our house. Jack was the electrician doing most of the work. He constantly checked to make sure we were happy with the work and they didn't take any shortcuts. They even fixed some exposed wire that we didn't even know about. Great service. I would definitely call these guys again. Do yourself a favor and ask for Carlos and his crew

The attic fan went very well. Troy was able to isolate and seal the flashing issue that was causing our roof leak, however after further investigation, requiring the removal of some siding, we found some more serious structural damage to the studs in the wall. This seemed to be a beyond his expertise as a 1-man job, so we opted to have him stop there and will bring in a construction contractor to make these repairs. We are very pleased with the work Troy did and would not hesitate to contact him again. We are grateful he was dedicated enough to look into the damage further, otherwise we never would have seen the interior damage

The installation went absolutely flawless. Abe and Troy were on time, professional and fun to work with. When installing the remote switch their suggested location was perfect, and, at the same time, they corrected a flaw in our original switch (the fan and light had been switched in the wiring), along with labeling the final result. Awesome. We will definitely use Got Watts Electric again

We responded to a special deal advertised on Angie's List for a whole house attic fan. The price was reasonable and the reviews were good. The process was very easy from the time we ordered until the install and follow up. The scheduling was easy. Because of the size of our house no pre-install site visit was required. The install was scheduled and Chris and Ray showed up on time on the day of install. They were very professional and polite. They did a look in the attic and then gave us a clear, concise review of what they saw and explained to us what decisions we needed to make. They answered our questions clearly. Once we gave the go ahead the work was done professionally and well. They cleaned up after themselves when done, gave us a demonstration of how the fan worked and made sure the paperwork was filled out for the fan. We had a problem with the timer of the fan not working properly. This turned out to be a recall issue with the timer installed. When we called and brought the problem to their attention the response was immediate with an offer to have someone there that day to fix the problem. Abe arrived as scheduled to replace the timer motor and the fan is now working as expected. We are happy with the fan and the service we received from Got Watts. We will consider them for future work we need to have done

I needed to have a very noisy attic fan removed quickly as it was bothering neighbors. He came out that afternoon, and even though it was extremely hot in the attic he removed it that day rather than asking to come back in the morning when it was cooler. He also replaced a broken electrical outlet and was quite professional throughout the visit. I found him on Angie's List and would definitely call him again

The first appointment made for this repair was not kept by the electrician. After an hour of calling for a status on the repair, I was told that the worker assigned to my job did not come in to work. The second technician arrived an hour and a half late without the proper equipment needed to do the job. He changed a wire, said that it needed more work and charged me $80. The fan worked for two hours and then broke again. When I called the owner of the business, Thomas Umble, he told me that he does not feel responsible to get it working but that he would make another appointment. The technician did not arrive for the third appointment and Mr. Umble did not respond to calls until 1 1/2 hours after the set appointment time. He did not resolve the fan problem but in the end he did return my $80 after mediation on my part by ServiceMaster

It went well. John came out to scope the work and provide an estimate. He was personable, asked what I wanted, made suggestions, and explained how the work would be done. He also came back on the morning when the work started to make sure the two-person crew understood what was to be done. The crew had to spend a lot of time in the attic, not only to replace the old attic fan, but to deal with the wiring for the replacement bathroom fans. Unfortunately, it was one of the hottest days of the year, but they persevered and got the work done without losing their professional composure. There was one problem that came up, which was that one of the replacement bathroom fans had a smaller cover than the previous fan, so there was a hole into the ceiling along one side. But they managed to resolve it to my satisfaction by adding a couple of custom-made plastic pieces on each side that look like they were part of the new cover

Darren Kicker's Affordable & Reliable Electrical

It's very difficult to find an electrician that is willing to work on ceiling fans, but Darren replaced a motor in a large Emerson ceiling fan for us, and came up with a creative solution for eliminating an annoying rubbing noise. He also installed an attic fan and switch for us, installed fluorescent lighting in the attic, and upgraded our fluorescent lighting in our laundry room. I get the feeling that Darren would be able to handle just about any of the typical homeowner electrical problems that I could throw at him. Darren is easy to work with and very professional, his costs are reasonable and moderate ... plus he is nice people too

Dave arrived on time and discussed the options. After we agreed on which option would best suit my needs, he did a neat, professional job at a reasonable cost. That Dave was also a nice person was a plus. I would definitely hire him again.

The experience was absolutely great. Dennis was always helpful and responsive from the start, through the whole job, and took care of some minor issues promptly after the job was completed. He even did some additional work (installing an attic fan and relocating some plumbing that was in the way of the new shower) without added cost. His crew was always professional and nice. The final product is great and I plan to have them back in the future to do some more work for me

Wiring the attic fans was easy. The hard part was the light switches. I gave them a B in quality because I think they tore open too big a hole in the wall to do the job. However they did find 2 code violations which they corrected and did not charge extra for. The lights now work correctly.

Chris did the work himself. He was punctual, polite, and professional. His work was clean and looked beautiful. He worked efficiently and cleaned up after himself. He was willing to work with us on scheduling which was very helpful. I'm not an inspector but I think he provided quality work and everything is working great. We will definitely call him for future work

Cliffhanger Home Repairs

Cliff arrived promptly on time, ready to work, with all the necessary tools to get everything done. After a short discussion to confirm the issues we needed addressed, Cliff got right to work. Cliff was easy going, easy to talk to and was very professional. He was able to complete 2 out of 4 jobs for which we engaged his services for. The 1st. job was troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing a nagging water leak inside the wall which kept us from using our upstairs hall bathroom. Cliff was able to locate the area of the leak, and narrow down and pinpoint it's exact location. He was able to perform the necessary repair without cutting into the walls! I was more than thrilled to confirm the water leak was in fact fixed! The 2nd. job was troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing an existing attic fan which was no longer working. Cliff was able to determine the attic fan was fine, but wasn't turning on because of a bad thermostat. Cliff replaced the bad thermostat, and rewired everything to relocate the thermostat to a more central area of the attic. The attic fan now kicks on when needed. After having very clear productivity and success with Cliff's services, I asked Cliff if he could come the next day for jobs #3 and #4. Luckily he had originally blocked out two days in his schedule for all our needs. Cliff was able to carry all the heavy materials upstairs to stage and prepare for job #3 the next day. I will write up another review for those jobs

I found this contractor on Angie's List. I called a couple of times over a couple of days, but no one answered. On the third day, he answered and we discussed my request, which was to replace an attic fan. I gave him both my home and cell phone numbers. He said he would call back the next day to set up an appointment. But I never heard from him
