An unbalanced door may be the root cause causing the failure of the garage door opener. My garage door is very old, and they were very creative in resolving various issues. The technician spent more than 2 hours trial and error, but he only charged one hour of labor and apologized that the adjustment was not perfect according to his expectation, but I think the door became much better and the imperfection was caused by my old and heavy garage door. .I scheduled the garage tune-up and roller replacement since my garage door was noisy when it opened and closed. The technician said there was a problem with one of the garage door panels and it would cost about $400 to fix the problem.
