Love this player. I have been able to find every podcast that I like to listen to on here. Easy to use. My only gripe is that it will go to the wrong episode occasionally (Depends on a few different factors as to when this will happen. Typically it's when you are meaning for it to play the next sequential episode, but it jumps to the most recently unfinished episode, which can be a different podcast entirely). Overall, it's a great player, and not just for podcasts, downloaded media, etc as well

i had player.fm for years. it was perfect, had so many features that on other apps you'd have had to pay for. but first, there were the pop-up ads that wouldn't go away and required a restart, then recently, the play button would respond, but the playback wouldn't start or start minutes later! i double-checked all my other apps and on other phones to see if it was me, but all the others worked. i exported all my subscriptions to another app (which was made pretty difficult, btw). so it's goodbye

I liked the basic functionality of the app, but over time it has become increasingly annoying. Frequent nag screens to SUBSCRIBE with no single purchase options to get it to shut up. Subscription is unreasonably expensive. Each nag screen is different so you have to work to skip the screen. Key features are hidden behind the pay wall as well. New phone? Lose all your subscriptions! Want to compress the podcasts to save space? $$$$ Too many dark patterns and too much greed. Uninstalled.
