Our vision is a just and robust community where everyone is valued equally and has the ability to imagine, shape, pursue, and sustain the lives they wish to lead.

Our mission is to confront the social and historical disparities that perpetuate injustice. We do this by accompanying organizations aligned with this goal, serving as advocates for change and convening thought leaders. Our focus on health equity and economic prosperity is balanced by a holistic approach which aims to develop and strengthen equitable systems throughout the world.

Health Equity

Wagner Foundation believes health is a basic human right. We support long-term investments in health systems strengthening, medical training and advocacy efforts, with an emphasis on gender equity both in the health workforce and health care delivery.

Economic PROSPERITY

Wagner Foundation believes economic prosperity should be available to all. To equip the next generation to build a prosperous future, we must acknowledge and dismantle the complex systemic barriers that continue to drive the opportunity gap and also make greater investments in training and skill-building.

Cultural Transformation

Wagner Foundation believes access to culture is fundamental to a prosperous society. We invest in visionary ideas, as well as arts organizations that expand cultural access and strive for a more inclusive arts ecosystem. The willingness to explore, ask questions, and support one another makes new solutions possible, transforming culture in the process.
