A COVID-safe visit. Clear communication about when service would be delivered - and very much on time. Quick diagnosis, replacement part on hand, and clean, quick, and efficient work. Highly recommended.

Rosano's Appliance Repair

Robert and his son, performed the work. They were extremely efficient, polite and neat during the whole repair process. There were drawbacks but the were the fault of Samsung and not Mr. Rosano. The original parts evolved to a form factor and some of the original parts no longer fit the the original configuration. Although parts replacement was delayed, Mr Rosano never ask for any payment until the work was satisfactorily completed and his "labor cost" after 3 separate visits, was extremely fair. I could recommend any repair service more highly than Rosano's. I am happy to leave rave reveiws to Mr. Rosano. I never met Mr. Rosano and his son before they arrived at my home to perform this work, nor am I familiar with anyone who is related to, or knows him. I selected him from this web site and it was completely random. It was our good fortune to meet him as we did

We could not find any service company to install this adapter even through Sears and Samsung. We had to purchase the adapter ourselves from Samsung Parts USA. Bell's is the only company who would come out and install the adapter. We must have tried at least 6 other companies and the our propane service company gave us some names of installers who also would not come here to install the adapter

Repaired a washer that fell off the truck ramp when we were unloading the moving van. It doesn't work as well as it used to, but I think it's a miracle that it works at all, considering that it literally fell off a truck! Service was prompt and professional, would definitely call them again for any appliance repairs

Took on washing machine repair that others wouldn't touch. For some reason they don't like Samsungs. However, Larry was prepared to try, and fixed it at a reasonable price.

We had Nathan and Peter come diagnose a grinding sound our Samsung dryer was making. They were professional and knowledgeable from the start. They even had the parts to fix it on the spot, so no more waiting! I highly recommend FixEm! A+++

He answered my call on a Saturday morning.. and came in within minutes. Better yet, he fixed it in a matter of 30-45mins. If only everyone did their job this way!! (For comparison, the Samsung support ticket has been open for 2 weeks now and no one there still has a clue what happened with my dryer)

Great. Mark and another worker showed up on time, assessed the problem, and were able to repair it. There was ice inside a gear mechanism in the fridge that was causing a ticking noise. He cleared the ice and replaced a damaged clogged drain line inside in the back that he thought was the cause of the problem. He had a kit on the truck to replace it. Put the refrigerator back together, put the shelving and drawers back in. That was on Friday. After a few hours the interior temperatures were back to where they should be and has been working perfectly since. He will be my go-to person for appliance repair in the future. I learned that it's hard to find someone to work on a Samsung, but he had no problem with it

The drier stopped heating up on Monday. I called my extended warrantee service on Tuesday to be informed that the first appointment would be Nov 29 (It's Nov 6 so I need to wait three weeks and get to go to the laundromat in the mean time!). Called LP Thursday after lunch. He came out an hour or so later and fixed it. Done, done and done. - Mike PS: told that Samsung appliances, though they have nice features are not reliable. Seems resonable. The drier has had two heating problems in the past two years. I've had 10 year old Kenmore stuff that never had a problem other than getting old

My Samsung front loader washer suddenly stopped spinning and draining. I called Domestic Appliance at 9:15 on Monday morning. They had a man out by 11 am. Turned out that my lucky St. Paddy's coin got stuck in the filter. The coin was removed and my washer was operational by 11:15. The office told me that they charge $69 for diagnosis of the problem but that fee is waived if you go ahead with the repair

Fantastic— punctual, quick and professional. Alex found the problem with my Samsung dryer within 2 minutes and when the part was waitlisted locally, had me order it from amazon. When it arrived 3 days later, he came back immediately and fixed the problem in minutes. I couldn’t recommend Alex and A Plus more highly and will always call him when I have a problem

The technician showed up on time. He then went to my dishwasher and when he looked at the dishes that had been washed using the dishwasher for the first time he saw the what looked like black mud on all of my dishes and told me that I must have left dirt on them. He then opened the bottom of the unit from the inside and found what he called dirt that was left there by the factory. He cleaned that part and told me I needed to run the unit with nothing in it and I did. When I placed the dishes back in it did not clean one bit of whatever was on them. He then returned on 7/10/2013 and simply told me that I need to wash the dishes by hand and when he took a bit of water to some of the dirt on the dishes it ran off but he could not explain why the dishwasher could not do the same thing and told me the unit was fine and have a good day. I stopped him and told him my wife and I heard what sounded like a gun shot while the unit was running and he told me it was the door to the soap dispenser opening but we have only heard it twice while the dishwasher has been run 6 times

The repair process went smoothly. FixEm was able to do a temporary repair so refrigerator was operable until the new parts arrived 7 days later. Arrived on Labor Day to install Evaporator Cover, Defrost Sensor, Leak repair kit, and door flipper. A preventive maintenance plan was put in place to reduce the chance of repeat part failure. The two appointment labor cost was $285.00. FixEm's integrity was excellent. It is definitely added to my call list for future appliance repair or preventive maitenance

He was right on the money. He had the part on his truck, so there wasn't a trip to the wholesaler to wait through. He was finished with diagnosis to repair within 2.5 hours.

Called on Christmas day and explained brand of fridge and issue. Had appointment set for next day set for between 1-2pm. The next day, got a call at 1pm and was told technician would be late (3:30pm). Technician called at 3:30pm and said he won't take job. Explanations: 1. No parking nearby...Not true. I just parked 10 minutes prior within a 1/2 block with no issues and plenty of space. 2. Company does not service LG or Samsung anymore: Company website states no limitations on brand. 3. Company is really a HVAC company: Same as point #2. The technician said he won't charge the visit fee. I was thoroughly confused as he did not take the job

Unable to locate technical manual for GE Profile frig made by Samsung, so neither company has the manual. Time limits prohibited longer search for it. Tech guessed at main circuit board as I'd already replace the panel. It had to be ordered and paid for ahead of time. Labor covered by first payment. So I did a longer search and found the tech manual at [*** Link removed ***] even though that wasn't quite my model number but one smaller. Manual indicated that Control panel was locked, and how to unlock it. Manual indicated how to run Self Diagnostic, so I ran it, and there were no problems. Once control panel unlocked it was determined that the settings had set frig to 34 degrees. Moved it up to 38 and frig now working properly. Tech came out to replace circuit board, but no longer needed. returning part will be done by them with restocking fee of 25%, and refund is in process

GENERAL REFRIGERATION SERVICE COMPANY

I have a Samsung Refrigerator that all of a sudden the ice maker stopped working. I found Gary's company on Angie's List and gave him a call. Gary answered the phone himself. After a short conversation going over the problem he provided me with enough information where I could check and work on the issue myself. I tried what he suggested and during the process I was able to discover the actual problem. It's fixed temporarily while the part I need to complete the repair is on order. What was great about this experience was Gary. Very professional. He could have come out and fixed the problem himself and made some income. But he knew that there was something I could check first and with a little guidance from him it payed off. (Thanks Gary.) If any of my appliance really fail in the future, I know who I would want to call first

Problem to me appeared to be something with the GAS supply - suspect in my book was the Flex Gas Line the Lowe's installed, the problem as I saw it was that the Gas line from the dryer was straight connection and the line from the wall was at a 90 degree. This caused the flex line to bend a bit more than what it should have at the terminal end of the dryer gas inlet on the rear. Lowe's should have used a 45 degree pipe fitting attached to the Dryer Gas Port to allow for some added flexibility. We had many conversations over the phone and he informed me if this was the problem that he did not do this work, Which means a plumber would have been needed. But as I have the dryer pulled from the wall and I did get heat this validated my logic. And again in many phone conversations we soon learned that it was still having issues w No Heat (or (Partial Low Heat) . So after more phone conversations we decided to go ahead and have him come out. Now I am somewhat technical / engineering / mechanical minded person ( I'm retired but don't want to be) I had removed the top of the dryer and was vacuuming up the lint inside when he arrived! So he and I shook hands ( very friendly) and did some testing and discussed my issue. Now I had though about my original premiss and had dismissed it and knew it was something else. We ran some tests and he removed the exhaust flex tube to see into the exhaust area for any buildup of lint and their was none. Of course w his 30 years of experience he had a good idea as to what the problem was. And then after informing me the price to which I had the Angie's coupon and also asked for a retired person discount on top he said it would be 140.00 - which was 40 for parts and 100 for labor. I said fine.( maybe I should have haggled a bit more)! Now It used to be that you when you needed to service the applianced you did it from the rear of these units. Not any more the gas valve was in the front. So after he showed me how to remove the control pannel he then removed the front and set that asside - door is attached. We then cleaned up the area around this and he used him MultiMeter to test the coils on the gas valve. In this situation the coils were turning off prematurely as they have breaks in the coil wire, Which would shut off gas. So he replaced the Gas Valve Coils to resolve the problem - note that the Coils come in a set and should be replaced as a pair. One is a three terminal and the other is a two terminal - don't mix them up. So after reassembly of the front we tested it again and the Dryer had more heat as a result of this fix. He then closed it up w my help and let me push it back into place to which I said fine. Over all his fix was spot on and quiet fast not more that an hour w testing and the like. So his labor rate was almost fair but the cost for the parts is about $22.00 from Appliance Parts here in San Jose whereas he charged me $40.00, this I found out is a bit much for mark up of the parts. SO the next time this happens ( in 5 years ) then I have the knowledge and the power to fix this myself. If I can remember it as I have that other lesser know rare tropical disease know as CRS ( Can't Remember Stuff) So after this issue and two other problem w heat that are caused by the dryers low static pressure of the dryer blower motors which leave lint etc in the exhaust duct which in my case runs under the house and you need to clean the entire 4 inch duct using a Dryer duct cleaning service (two time in 5 years @ avg cost of $120) . I have decided to add a 2nd lint trap and a additional Dryer vent booster vent motor to push the air out of the vent due to the long duct run under the house and the 3 plus 90 degree turns that it takes. I only say this as my old commercial Electric Dryer made in USA by Whirlpool didn't need this assistance - it blew the lint out the exhaust vent at the side of the house w a vengeance. Oh well that the price for outsourcing! Over all was impressed with LP Appliance - his degree of service did not need any factory manual to look to for assistance. It was all in his head and overall I would us him again but maybe haggle a bit more on the parts costs
