OK, I did NOT have to get 8 bids, but, being a public school teacher I have to watch my money. I spent several days researching Westchester, Ossining, Briarcliff Manor plumbing and heating contractors. Bruni came to the house several times, listened to us and revised the bid for replacing our old boiler system with a heat pump system. We looked into geothermal. My house was too small vendors said. The water heater needed to be replaced too. I used neighbors, Yelp, Angi's List, Google, etc. sifting through vendors and options. One recommended propane so I priced that too. I priced T. Webber, Burke, ThemoDynamix, and Carey & Walsh that my neighbor uses. Another long-term neighbor uses Bruini and Campisi I noticed. After several days of getting estimates, hearing excuses for no-shows, and late vendors I was the most comfortable with Bruni and Campisi. The price was competitive. I plan to live in this house for many years and pass it to my daughter so a maintainable, long-term confidence is important. I had heard that Bruni and Campisi has something like 24 total teams with 8 HVAC teams. My system failed while I was getting estimates. I called them at 10 p.m. they answered, called back, and scheduled next morning at 10 a.m. service. I badly needed them and they promptly came through. Bruni fixed the problem the next morning. The company that had installed the failed equipment could not come out for several days. We would have had to go to a hotel had it not been for Bruni and Campisi. Nugent & Sons was the only company (I received estimates from 3 companies) that was able to install a hard to find HVAC unit for my condo. My condo is quite small and an older unit. This made it hard to find an HVAC unit that meets modern efficiency standards but is still able to fit into the small space of the older HVAC unit. Their estimate was also one of the lowest. All their employees were extremely cordial, considerate, and professional. Installation was on schedule. Very highly recommendedshow more

I called for service the past few days was so hot and i looked for someone who is able to come same day and do the work and make sure we will be able to be in our house, a friend recommended Oren and i am so happy that i called him for the service, he came within couple of hours gave us great solution and even start the work the same day, because it was emergency type of thing so he had to come back the next day to finish. Our install team was top notch Jesus and Vu came in and removed the old HVAC unit and installed the new equipment. They where very nice and knowledgeable, the install took two days and at the end of the work day they cleaned up after themselves and left my home super clean. Jesus and Vu are an awesome team and I was lucky to have them do my install. The Sandium team were very professional and helpful. We wanted to have our HVAC ductwork cleaned and requested a quote. Tyler performed an inspection of the system and informed us the existing ducts had asbestos and could not be cleaned without the chance of asbestos being released. During the inspection, he noticed the return air paths into the furnace were not effective and recommended installing a new filter box. This entailed raising the furnace/AC system by a couple of feet to make room for it. After the new ducts were installed and the filter box installed, his team installed attic eave vents and blown in insulation to bring the R factor to R 50. He also helped us submit paperwork to the BayREN upgrade incentive program so that we received a rebate for a percentage of the project. The appointment was for between 8-11. The techs showed promptly at 8. They were very professional and explained everything. They replaced my old heater, AC and added zone control. It was not just a remove and replace as modifications had to be made. The instillation was very neat and the job site completely cleaned up before they left.
