I joined Angie's List to find a reputable plumber after a 45 minute $600 on two toilets that were running experience with another in Cincinnati. Tarvin Plumbing was everything the previous reviews promised. They were professional, timely, very fair and even had an Angies list coupon. I would highly recommend them for any work and will use them again myself. I could not have been more pleased with the outcome. I cannot say enough positive things about this experience. The enthusiasm may be a little over the top, but it is because historically we have received questionable services and fees from other providers. They were a breath of fresh air. The gentleman fixed both items in a very short period of time after giving us an estimate of cost for the repair, when we received the final bill, his estimate had not deducted the coupon so it was even lower than anticipated. I have an old house (1928) with old plumbing. My bathroom sink drain was stopped up, and is difficult to snake due to a bend in the first 12and quot; of pipe. So I gave up and called Mr. Cotter because he had been recommended to me. He can out within two hours, and had my drain cleared in less than an hour! He was super pleasant and very professional, laid down tarps to got get any bleck anywhere. On his way out I asked if he would take a quick peek at my first level toilet that has always had low water. Other contractors had looked at it before and told me it would need completely replaced because it was a design flaw (water efficiency model). Mt Cotter lifted the tank lid and saw the problem in the flushing mechanism immediately. He made a change and it was instantly fixed! He didn't charge me anything extra. :) Awesome fellow!

We tried to replace a valve cartridge in our shower/tub on our own and ended up with a leaking mess. I spoke with Jerry Laux Saturday afternoon and we agreed on a Monday service call. He was running a few minutes late, but called and kept us aware of his status. Jerry did the job quickly and neatly, so we had him take a look at a couple of other annoying plumbing problems. Same thing - quick resolutions while explaining what was going on. Highly recommended and I will call him on any future plumbing issues!!

Came out quickly, the tech they sent was fast and efficient, but that's where the positive experience ended. He wrote up a work order, stated that the part may need to be ordered and they would be in touch. After almost a week of nothing, we called several times only to be told that they hadn't even contacted the home warranty company for approval. Once they had, we were told it would be an additional $85 to schedule our appointment for that week (even though they waited a week to even check about approval). Tech's were good, but the office staff is awful. Would not use if given a choic

Tom is a perfectionist and went beyond what I would have expected. All shutoff valves were replaced and a hole was plastered and painted so a new mirror could be mounted and the light above it was raised to accomodate it. He also drained my water heater to alleviate calcium buildup. Wall and floor tile look great. My wife is happy, which makes me happy

He Following that he checked the toilets and their connection to the sewer system for possible sources of the sewer gas odor we were smelling. He discovered a loose connection in the wastewater pipes which he tightened after checking the seals on the toilets, etc
