The washing machine timer knob would not engage. We called Apache on Thursday and they came out Friday to inspect the washing machine. Turns out the timer was broken and they had to order and replace the part. Gary came on Monday morning to install the timer and promptly fixed the problem. He also advised us on how to clean the washing machine and proper washing machine loading and usage. We called him a few days later as we were still having trouble with the washing machine. He troubleshooted the problem over the phone and we were able to fix the problem with his guidance. Gary was professional and courteous and we would gladly use this company again.

UPDATED 10/30/2020: This is a revision of the 10/7/20 review. They did refund the overpayment and I'm glad that they have been working to make sure that they fixed the problem. They kept me informed about the schedule and arrived and checked the washing machine and determined that it was not the washing machine but I needed an electrician (When the electrician arrived after extensive searching they discovered that the problem was the sump pump) which has now been repaired). They quoted me a fee for the service call. While they were there I asked them about another appliance I was having trouble with. They took a peek and indicated what they thought was the matter and what would be needed for the repair. They gave me a bill for the quoted repair and I paid it by charge card. I was shocked to see that I was charged double the amount I was quoted when I looked at my credit card statement. I'm not sure if they charged me double because they looked at the other appliance, if it was a mistake or something else but I wish they had informed me that I was being charged more. As for the would I hire again I wish there was a maybe button.

The repair person arrived precisely as scheduled. He examined the washing machine and quickly ascertained the problem. Within an hour, the hot water intake had been replaced, as well as a leaky valve which was the source of the water. Our whirlpool washer was making a lot of noise during the spin cycle. I called Above the Rest Appliance Repair on a Friday and they had 2 of their technicians out on Monday. No error codes were displayed to indicate what the problem might be. The technicians checked the suspension rods and while they looked a bit worn they weren't really failing. The tub also appeared to be a bit off kilter. Without any pressure from the technicians we decided to go ahead and replace the rods. Umar, the owner of the company called and explained that without an error code it was difficult to ascertain what the problem was and that replacing the rods might not resolve the problem. We told him we understood but to go ahead with the rod replacement anyway. The team arrived the next day, replaced the rods and the problem was solved! Kudos to Above the Rest for not trying to sell me something I might not need. I felt their price was fair and their technicians were very professional and friendly and they were masked during the time they were in our house. I would not hesitate to use this company for any other appliance repair work.

The hose on my washing machine broke and flooded my laundry closet. After reading reviews, I decided to try Service Master. The technician, Sohi, was dispatched the next day. Sohi was professional, courteous and capable. He quickly and accurately assessed the situation. While he was there, I also had him assess my dishwasher, which had been shutting off in the middle of the wash cycle. He figured out the problem and warned me it was an expensive replacement part. He placed the order for replacement parts for both appliances and completed the repairs, as soon as the parts came in (within 4 days). He did a great job and my appliances all work now. I would use this company again and I would request Sohi.

I contacted this provider after my washing machine overflowed and flooded my laundry room on a Sunday afternoon. They answered the phone immediately, and I initially scheduled service within a day. I had to call back and reschedule, unfortunately, and I was still able to get an appointment very quickly. They offered flexible scheduling and were very responsive. I was a little ambivalent about getting my machine repaired, since it was 10 years old I was not sure it was worth it. The technician came and quickly diagnosed the problem, and it was less than $100 for the call, parts and the repair. I would definitely use Servicemaster again based on their responsiveness, quick turnaround time, and pricing (although I did not comparison shop this repair).

Preparing for a week long trip and on last load of laundry at 7:45 on Monday evening. Machine would not pump out the water. Great! Checked AL and found Service Master with extended hours (until 11:00 p.m.!) Called and had an immediate pick up to arrange service for the following day between 2-5 p.m. I was keeping my fingers crossed it could be repaired with a tub full of water and clothes. Sohi called at the front end of the time frame, gave appx. time of arrival, arrived within that time, knew exactly what was the problem, has the part, and repaired the machine within 30 minutes.
