"I first met Tony, owner of Nexxus Remodeling, soon after his lead hardwood flooring installer had come to check out my home so they could send me an estimate. My project was to rip out all carpet in my upstairs, and on the stairs from the 1st floor. Even before I had received all bids I’d sought from him and other contractors, Tony found out the floor I’d intended to buy was out of stock. He arranged for me to go to a showroom that has the best inventory and selection I’d seen in my search, and he met me there to personally assist me to find flooring I liked just as well as my first choice. I was soon able to determine that Tony’s bid was very comprehensive and reasonable, but his efforts to help me before even being hired had impressed me just as much. If you want to hire a contractor who will go to extreme lengths to ensure you end up a totally satisfied customer, Tony. He said from the beginning that he wouldn’t consider my flooring project completed until I felt that every detail had been attended to, and he meant it! Tony personally checks in frequently to monitor the project. His crew does it all (carpet removal and disposal; installation of hardwood flooring, moldings and risers; carpentry; removal and replacement of doors and furniture; and, clean up after each days work). Not only that but they removed a washer and dryer that had konked out, and brought them downstairs onto my patio, AND then they cleaned out a laundry area that had at least 25 years worth of lint and dust built up in it. "Everything went quickly from my initial phone call (TH 8-13-2020 Kris) to opening the broken manual roll-up door (Fri 8/14 Kris) to installing the new roll-up door with motor opener (Fri 8/21 Kris &amp; Victor). Both Kris &amp; Victor answered my questions and explained things well. Including - what work was required to open broken door, benefits of door with a motor opener, placement/location of motor in garage, how motor opener works (battery back-up, sensors) I am especially pleased with the molding that closes the gap between the door and the garage. The molding will help stop heavy rain from entering at the bottom and will keep dust &amp; wind debris from entering at the top. The almond color of the door matches the garage trim perfectly (Kris suggestion). Victor cleaned up the area well. All this in spite of 100*F and high humidity for the area.show more

"We were very impressed with Dream Home Remodeling! Effram and Daniel were a pleasure to work with. No pressure, just great design and planning advice and excellent quality work. Their attention to detail in particular was highly refreshing- they take pride in their work, and it shows. We had Effram come out to do an estimate, where he actually listened to what we were interested in doing and talked through relevant options, rather than just talking up what he thought was best. Within a couple days he had drawn up several options at different price points, all in line with what we'd discussed. He was extremely patient, and quick and responsive with good information and practical advice when we needed help &amp; advice for decisions like how big of a tub would work in the space, design ideas, where to get the best deal locally on tiles, etc. The work itself was completed on time, on budget, and with results that exceeded our expectations despite the pandemic. Effram and the lead contractor, Daniel, were both brilliant, patient, and friendly. Daniel would check in with us frequently about how the work was going and if we had any questions, and would stop by every few days to oversee progress, touch up the work here and there- heck, HE EVEN RANDOMLY FIXED OUR BROKEN MAILBOX JUST BECAUSE IT NEEDED DOING, FREE OF CHARGE! I mean, wow. Any minor problems that came up, Daniel took care of promptly (and usually personally)! We were so happy with the result- Dream Home transformed an old, awkward bathroom into a beautiful, modern space at a fair price and with outstanding customer service.
