Ron was wonderful! This job was actually several very very small repairs and I was not sure I could find someone skilled who would take on such a small, but very important aesthetically! Job. He came out, gave me a bid and returned to do the repairs! Some were on regular troweled wall board and one on an old plaster wall, which required a different technique to match it, and he both beautifully. Just wish I had more wallsshow more

Kenney Construction did a great job in every way. They were thorough, quick, careful, clean, and very nice to work with. We hired them for drywall repair and painting in our living room and dining room, where we had some very large cracks. They did a great job fixing the walls, which included the installation of plywood between the studs for more stability, then new drywall and texturing, and painting. They also moved our furniture back into position as it was before they started the drywall repairs, remounted the window blinds, and paid attention to detail throughout. Midway through the project we asked if they could also remove a dilapidated wooden trellis from our back patio, and they managed to fit it in right after they finished the drywall repair work. He is on time, his rate is reasonable, I find him to be honest, and workmanship quality is excellent. The only (slight) drawback is that he has underestimated the length of time he would need to perform a task. However, it's relatively minor, and overall he is very good. Kennedy painters were professional, energetic and polite. They arrived on the dot and stayed until quitting time. Prep work was amazing--particularly repairing old plaster cracks. A plaster ceiling, which I thought was beyond repair now looks perfect. Wonderful! We contracted with Rick in 2017 to repair and weatherproof several stucco walls. In 2018, we began a large job consisting of removing dry rot siding, repairing the areas with plywood. In the process we repaired a bay window that was leaking. Then we added 1 1/2” foam insulation over the old siding and topped that with new manufactured wood siding. Now our house is watertight, better insulated, and refreshed with a more modern look. We will continue to work with Rick and his crew in 2019 on a deck project. His guys are always professional. We have a dog and the guys make sure the gates are closed so he doesn’t get outshow more

They are excellent, professional and meticulous. They were very good and fair. I priced out the work I had done and the people who were lower bidders were not bonded or insured. Their employees also were not legal citizens. This company was legit; they were good and responsible. They were 10 minutes early to begin the workshow more

Though listed as a handyman, we used Todd primarily for ceiling repairs. Maybe he should be listed as a plasterer. The advantage of using Todd instead of a regular plasterer is that while a coat of plaster dried he could do projects around the house. Impressively, he even identified and fixed the cause of a leak that ruined the worst ceiling. His workmanship was great. His innovation was wonderful. The only snag we ran into was pricing. We chose to use Todd, who was the highest priced fellow we interviewed, because he seemed extremely capable and knowledgeable. (Definitely get an estimate from this guy; you will learn something.) Our budget nearly doubled without our knowledge. If we had checked in with him half way this probably would not have happened. Joe and his team were amazing and gave us excellent service from the kitchen to the foundation. The quality of the work was exceptional and it was a pleasure to work with all of them. Their success at finishing on time was because of a solid work ethic that sometimes had them staying 3-4 hours extra and coming on weekends when necessary. Joe’s detailed knowledge of current code was very helpful in some of our complex decisions. He even recommended a cheaper option to the intended design and we are thrilled with the outcome. He and his employees were very professional and paid high attention to detail. The work area was covered and kept clean at all times. We highly recommend SOD Home Group for any large construction project. After finishing my excellent research about them, we hired them to make some significantly large repairs to our home. Oren was very up front about what needed to be done, and he listened to our concerns and ideas of what we need and want and then came up with a super detailed plan of what needed to be done. We found Oren as a very honest, professional, easy to work with person, competent, and extremely knowledgeable about his trades. Oren was present and working with his teams almost all the time they were present. Oren always answered his phone right away whenever we had questions (and believe us we had so many questions and comments). Our repairs and construction job required expertise in many aspects of construction at our home. From framing, waterproofing, stucco, structural repairs, tile work, drywall painting etc. all of which got done in a great and timely manner. Scott was responsive in coming to give an estimate, his price was about the same as two other companies, they scheduled the work in the time frame he'd said they'd be available. They estimated it would take 4-5 days to complete the work and it took 3. They cleaned up the house each evening so it was livable. I was happy with the work, the price, the professionalism of Scott AND the workers. I'm a detail-oriented person and they took care of the details! They even did a little texture patch job on a bad repair someone had done before we moved in - at no extra cost. On the 2nd job I hired them for (interior painting), it was decent (and the price was lower by ~$500 than the other quote), but they definitely didn't take as much care on the details. They painted over some mollies that they were going to remove, there were paint splatters on my shutters, there were some paint smudges on surrounding trim. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do the walk-through when they finished since it was ahead of schedule and I couldn't get there when they were ready to leave. Jean is fantastic and has been a complete pleasure to have around. He has basically rebuilt the walls of our 1904 house after they were destroyed when the wall paper came down.
