Superior was great in every detail. Easy to make/change an appointment, the inspector (John Connor) was prompt, friendly, and very informative. We thought some holes in a fence post was caused by termites, but John inspected it along with some other areas of the house and told us we did not have termites. The inspection consisted of an interior check, crawl space underneath my home, an out building and the lawn more specifically being shrubs and trees. At the completion of the inspection, I received a written report of the process and results. Omega was the group hired by the listing real estate agent for a house we purchased in Oakland; the inspection suggested that there was termite activity and that "further inspection was needed." We called to schedule service as soon as we purchased the house; they were booking 4 weeks out. We also had them come back to do the "further inspection" where they basically said that there's a portion of the house that's inaccessible and would need to have the structural reinforcement of the foundation removed in order to access it for treatment which would cost an additional $1500. Why they couldn't have said that on the original report is beyond me. Fast forward and the day of our appointment comes. I took off a half day from work and they no-showed. I called to follow up and they said, "sorry, we had to fire a guy." So apparently they fire people without rescheduling their appointments. To me, a lack of customer service is the biggest red flag when it comes to using a service company. They made no amends for wasting my time and so I'll be paying an extra amount to have a different group come inspectshow more
