It was wonderful working with Rob and his team. They worked hard to get the job done in a quick and efficient manner. They told me what they needed ahead of time (e.g., access to an electrical outlet). The quote was accurate to the finished product. Rob worked to keep things within our tight budget. Rob has followed up at least twice since the job was finished, just to see if our grass is indeed growing, etc. We were very happy with the results and will definitely call Grasshopper Landscaping again

Called Hotel Gravel for pricing and was given information to help me decide on gravel size, best use of gravel, pricing and delivery details - including my need for a single axle delivery truck due to a tight tun in my driveway. Was told that gravel ordered in a.m. could be delivered in p.m. Called other companies for pricing. Hotel Gravel was the middle bid, but efficiency of Hotel Gravel office staff convinced me to utilize Hotel. I ordered gravel at 10:00 a.m. and gravel was delivered at 11:30 a.m. Driver (Willie) was very pleasant and communicated with me about the amount of gravel I ordered and the best use of the gravel on my driveway - which included some rather bare spots. I am very pleased with the service and price and the look of the finished job. In the future, I will use Hotel Trucking not only for future gravel needs, but also for future topsoil and mulch delivery

Absolutely wonderful experience. As it turns out, Mr Martin knows my area quite well. There are testaments to his craftsmanship still standing after 30 years just down the street from me. He was very friendly on the phone and came out quickly to give an estimate. The number was so good I agreed on the spot. The next day he was out clearing and preparing the land for our new gravel driveway. He was also gracious enough to take the filler and level out an area of our yard that had eroded, thusly killing two birds with one stone. He completed the gravel driveway the same day and we were using it that night. It looks great and has added a missing element to our house. We will certainly use him in the future for any other stone/masonry needs we have around the house

S-R TOPSOIL
I recently used S/R Topsoil for a load of shredded topsoil and I was very pleased. So I decided to call and see if they also had gravel to deliver. I was doing some landscaping and was ready to fill in a path with small, angular gravel. After talking about my project with the woman on the phone, she discussed the matter with someone else who told her crushed limestone was what I needed. I received a phone call prior to delivery and the gravel was put right where I asked. As I started to move the gravel to the path it seemed very sandy. There were stones the size I desired but there was so much sand. I kept shoveling to beat the rain and get to a later appointment. I was hoping the farther down into the pile I got there would be more chunks and less grain. Not so. I was quite disappointed with the look of the pathway but waited until after it rained to call just in case the sandy pieces were washed away. When I talked to the woman who answers the phone and shared my disappointment she said that is what crushed limestone looks like. The phone call ended with being told she was sorry I wasn't happy with the product. I would suggest that anyone who wants S/R's gravel should see what they are buying before a purchase is made. This was my second path that I have made from gravel (different home) and there is no comparison. This material is definitely inferior to what I had used before

I trust him and appreciate his patience as we weigh the options. We also really liked the crew. It was the same crew that did work at our old house over three years ago -- it's nice to see that consistency and their attention to detail is great as well. They are professional and take initiative to show me the work along the way to make sure we are all happy before everything is final - I love this because sometimes other companies can seem annoyed that you'd want to check along the way. Diantha is kind and professional as well. While they are a bit pricier than other landscaping companies we've worked with / quoted with before, I feel it's definitely worth it as you will get high quality (and kindness) from them through every step of the way. It went well. The guys showed up & dug out the area from my driveway to my gate. They laid the large stepping stones & a few of the concrete stepping stones that I already had. They filled the area with gravel. The next day, they dug a path from my gate to my deck & laid the rest of the large stepping stones. They filled around them with topsoil & seeded the area . They always notified me when they were running late, or if there would be a delay, & for this I was very appreciative

I chose Beautiful Earth to do my landscaping needs after reviewing several other companies. Tim worked with me to make suggestions as what to implement. We settled on building a dry creek bed made up of creek gravel highlighted with various sizes of boulders scattered throughout. The remaining area was to be filed in with mulch. Tim suggested a specific mulch that does not float so as to stay in place. As I wanted to have some color in the back yard Tim suggested a flowering tree and several flowering bushes and ferns. The result not only met my expectations but far exceeded it. Tim’s crew was professional and timely and was a true pleasure work with. They even went farther than expected to ensure what was added blended in with what I already had and everything was perfect. After seeing the excellent results, I decided to replace an overgrown tree in my front yard. Once again exceeding my expectations. I would highly recommend Beautiful Earth (Tim) for any landscaping needs. My only regret is that I do not have anything else for them to do at this point in time. Thanks Tim and crew

They were prompt. I did find their pricing, for a rock wall and some other things, to be over the top. I had used them for the last couple of years. I switched to pine straw, which they didn't provide. I went to a different supplier. Everytime I got a scoop or two, I would have them dump it out because it was more economical than bags. I believe they have a sliding scale on delivery distance. Sometimes they would get a little mixed up on things. Once or twice, I asked for mulch and I got dirt or vice versa. It was good mulch. I've had other places that were a little more professional and a little better, so I would probably go somewhere else

I went well. Two gentlemen found the clog using two cameras. They cleaned the underground drainpipe and put it all back together. There was a slight problem in one of ther connections that had to be resolved the next day but everything has worked fine since.

The owner, Bruce, came out and evaluated what needed to be done. He identified several dead or dying trees that needed to be removed and gave me an estimate for the work. All the work was completed as quoted and either he or an employee came back once a week for a month to check one everything, then they came out once a month for the next six months to check on things. All work and products are guaranteed for 12 months. He really did a fantastic job and is meticulous and very caring about getting the work done correctly. My wife and I were very satisfied and I would definitely recommend him to my friends and clients

The final work is so attractive that several neighbors eyed it and immediately called Bob Jones to request quotations for their homes. All finished surfaces are well constructed, textured, stained and sealed. The actual textured surface is crafted by first pouring concrete between edge guides, slightly texturing the overall surface, letting it sit overnight, and then grinding grooves to form the "stone borders". The proprietor himself then works carefully to stain each "stone" by hand, alternating colors to make the final pattern. A clear overcoat of sealant protects the final work. ImageStone did a great job, even filling in soil along the edges of the concrete. All we needed to do was seed grass to patch the turf. The entire project involved an extensive amount of labor, hence we think the price is reasonable. Overall, all of our specifications were met. The one downside was that it took many weeks after we requested the work and signed the contract. Bob Jones attributed this to other jobs scheduled plus the fact that ImageStone needs to hire specialists for things like operating the Bobcat-like equipment
