There was an initial problem of not showing up on schedule, which the owner explained as an office error for which he apologized. I appreciated his honesty. Within 15 minutes Brandon showed up and executed the job admirably, including electrical and ductwork connections, also cleanup of the work area and disposal of the old hood. Brandon was professional, friendly and good about explaining his work. He had to install an extra electric junction box and wire extension-- for which the owner charged no extra fee as a courtesy considering the scheduling snafu. This was a nice touch

As part of our kitchen remodel, we purchased a range hood that needed to be vented through the exterior wall. We had a very tough time finding someone to do this as all the appliance installation companies I called were not equipped to do "construction". Bockrath came out an provided a quote which I found very reasonable (the $300 was for the venting portion of the install only, my husband installed the actually range hood, but still a good price). They set up a time for install, arrived promptly, and charged the agreed upon amount. Great experience

IMMEDIATELY AFTER SIGNING A CONTRACT FOR THE JOB WE HAD A GREAT DEAL OF TROUBLE CONTACTING THE SALE REPRESENTATIVE TO GET INFORMATION. SHE WAS NOT AVAILABLE WHEN AND DID NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS. AS A RESULT WE COULD NOT FIND OUT WHEN THE INSTALLATION WOULD BE DONE UNTIL BEING CONTACTED BY THE WORKMAN SHORTLY BEFORE THE INSTALLATION. THE WORKMAN WHO INSTALLED THE RANGE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. WE WERE IMPRESSED WITH THE WORK DONE AND CONSIDER USING THE COMPANY IN THE FUTURE. THE PRODUCTS OFFERED BY THE COMPANY AND THE QUALITY OF THE WORK OUTWEIGH THE COMMUNICATIONS PROBLEMS INITIALLY EXPERIENCED

PAT AND HIS ASSISTANT WERE CLEAN, THOROUGH, PROTECTED THE STOVE AND LEFT THE KITCHEN CLEAN. I DID HAVE TO PICK UP THE BRICK OUTSIDE THAT WAS GROUND OUT AS THEY BORED A HOLE THROUGH THE WALL. THEY SPECIALIZE IN THIS WORK AND HAD ALL THE EQUIPMENT. I RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY. I AM VERY PLEASED.

This is the second time I have used this company, and I have been extremely pleased both times. This time I needed some repair work to my deck and previously they installed lights, a range hood, bathroom hardware and soffit repair and painting. They are prompt, professional and hard-working. I would rate them as exceptional and recommend them highly. I will definitely be using their services in the future

Southland Mechanical

Outstanding work by a talented and conscientious professional. When problems were encountered, she worked with us to decide on best course of action. Her recommendations were spot on and resulted in a super looking installation. For a large part of the job, she had to work in close quarters with at times as many as two other contractors doing work around her in the kitchen and attic. She not only managed that superbly, but was able to work with them and get their help to solve some of the problems encountered in the work being done (which meant the job got done on time and with a minimum of additional cost). Highly recommended

Excellent! Dan and Mike were both troubleshooting the issue with regard to the range hood that we have in our kitchen. It was a major issue for my husband to have this repaired. Even though they couldn't repair it, the feedback that they gave us on the next steps was valuable, so we would know what to do. Same thing for some other issues that we had run into with light fixtures and an outlet, which weren't working. When things were getting a bit behind, another person showed up and helped to get the work done on time and in one day! Everything else was installed, cleaned up, and working perfectly. Very happy with the work and would definitely do business with them again

Miami Heating & Cooling

The work was done very well. It took several trips to complete, partially because of working during the holiday/cold season. There were two men who did most of the work, and Joe came out on two occasions to make sure everything was going smoothly. Actually, we purchased a new range hood and he installed that without additional cost. The project was completed before Christmas, which was the ultimate goal. It took a little longer to complete because of weather and some emergency situations arose (with other installations and repairs) that set the project back a little. I did have to make a call one day because there was still a portion of the project not completed and he was not aware of that and made sure the work was completed quickly. When the bill arrived, it was exactly the amount that had been proposed without any hassles or asking for money upfront or anything like that. My husband and I enjoyed dealing with Joe and his crew. Miami Heating was actually recommended to us by a friend who manages a homeless shelter in Hamilton that they have done work for. The work was quality and Joe and his employees are very professional. They also were careful to clean up daily after they were done working. Would definitely recommend

BTS did an amazing job! The work is beautiful, and we couldn't be more pleased with our new kitchen. Bob was very responsive via phone and email throughout the entire process, and was helpful and flexible during both the planning and execution (even though we changed our plans several times early on!). All of the contractors working on our kitchen were friendly, skilled, and professional, and we were very comfortable having them in our home. In addition to the outstanding quality of the work, BTS was very efficient and followed the schedule they had originally given us. Highly, highly recommend

Dan (owner) was punctual and professional. His quote didn't change even after it took about 3 months to finally get the work done. Mike (from House Doctors) was very professional, and very good. They didn't skimp on material-quality, and they also accommodated my request to get better cans for the recess lights. The electrical, dry-walling, ducting, installing the outside vent etc all went well. My only beef was with their delay in follow-up to fix a follow-up issue - a rattling noise that meant they had to take the hood apart again, and remove the safety (butter-fly) value that was hitting against the duct. It needed 8" clearance, and we had only 7" - so we ended up using a reducer to go from 8" to 6" in the duct work. We have been using the hood for about 2 months now, and no issues so far. I will definitely use them again for more work next yea

From start to finish every thing was excellent. After I called for an estimate,Mr. Dan Landon came to the house to see what needed to be done. He came back a few days later with an estimate. There were a few things on the drawings that had to be "tweaked" and he took all of the info with him and came back a few days with an update. After a thorough explanation of what was to be done, explanation of monetary procedures and an estimated start date a contract was signed. Mike and John were the two men who performed the renovation. I can sum up their work with two words. "Total Professionals". They were always on time and if they were delayed they always called and let me know when they would be coming. They always went about their work in a professional manner and during the course of the renovation if something up came they were not sure about they would always talk to me about it before proceeding. On more than one occasion Mr. Landon would stop by to see how things were progressing and would always ask if I was satisfied with what was being done. The job was completed on time and everything was just as it was supposed to be. After the project was complete, Mr. Landon came by to make sure everything was satisfactory. He also asked me why I chose him instead of somebody else. I told him of all the other estimates I received were mailed to me with no follow up. He was the only one that came to the house with the estimate and then came back to answer my questions and get my input. That showed me he cared and that is why he got the job. Mr. Landon and the gentlemen who completed the renovation were professional from start to finish

Joe helped with the rehab of an investment property we purchased. He returned my initial phone call promptly and arrived early for our first meeting. We discussed the scope of work and Joe gave us some suggestions in finishing off a basement area. He was prompt in furnishing us with a quote and proper proof of insurance I asked him for some references which he furnished and one couple actually invited us over to show us his work. Throughout the project Joe and his crew showed up on time and worked in a professional manner. Because the job started a week after projected Joe would put in extra hours as well as some of his crew. We added additional work as time went on and Joe was most accommodating. I would certainly use Joe again both in my own home and in future remodels

Kircher Design & Build

I found these guys because I was lost and stopped into their storefront for directions. I kept their card and they were 1 of 3 bids for our kitchen remodel work. Kitchen Solvers did not have many entries in Angie's List. My other two bids did. Auer Kitchens was one of the other bids. I was very impressed by Auer, but their bid was about $10,000 higher than Kitchen Solvers. The third, Kraft Construction, was quite a bit lower, but they did not seem capable of doing the design services, and while very nice people, were not nearly as professional as the others. Kitchen Solvers did very well in all of the following areas: 1) design services, including interior decorating services; 2) general contracting; and finally 3) the actual contruction and installation. The work was done in 4 weeks, which was 3 weeks less than Auer said it would take. Most of the work was done by a wonderful man and craftsman named Steve. Steve was there every day. About half the time, he had a helper. Steve was extremely professional. He was always happy and patient to explain to me and my wife how the work was going and if we had any concerns. The results of his work are very good. I am very handy person and have done this type of work before. I am very picky and the work was done to my satisfaction. The quality of materials used on the job was excellent. The design process was a good experience, too. Laura was our designer and she also handled most of the business end of things. They have a small showroom where you can see most of the materials. While you can pick out almost anything you want, they start by offering you a standard set of cabinets, counter tops, tile, etc. that most people commonly pick. It's a great place to start because a lot of the selecting can be overwhelming. All in all, I think I got a very good value. I rate price a "B" on Angie's list when the price is about right for what you are getting. I reserve "A's" for contractors who are either not charging enough or they have a competitive advantage over their peers that gives them a radically different cost structure. For Kitchen Solvers, keep in mind you are paying for general contracting and design services. I found both to be excellent. When there was a problem (such as with the appliance supplier), it was their problem, not mine, and they worked it as such. They did not try to pass it off to me as my problem. When the work took a little longer than they had estimated, they ate the cost. All changes were done by a formal work change request process
Terrible service. The roof itself according to inspector is they did a good job. They did not pick up the nails and extra debris. I called them several times but no one call me back. Even the project never showed up after. It was horrible to deal with them. The other stuff in the contract is never done
While it took a little while to get scheduled (due to how many jobs they had), once we made the arrangements, the professional who showed up was prompt, polite, and did very high quality work. I would hire them again for future needs.
Van Stein is the utmost professional. In advance of the project, he took the time to come to my home and get an idea of the project scope and my personal preferences. He provided me different options in various price ranges and worked with me to ensure my choices would be within budget. Guided me in selecting tile, paint, countertop, etc. After the project work began, Van did an outstanding job keeping me advised and informed of progress and next steps. The gentleman who did the bathroom tile work, Dan, did an unbelievable job~ beautiful work with attention to all details. More than pleased with the end result, and I would definitely utilize Stein Construction again for future projects
It went very well..Dominic and his crew were great. They were timely and always kept us abreast of the work completion timeline and any issues they encountered. They were tidy and cleaned up their workspace. They even did a few extra favors for us that were unexpected. The driveway and sidewalks look great. We'd definitely hire Limitless for future projects
Tom McCane (the contractor), his sons and the rest of his staff are TRUE professionals in the industry. If you want someone you can trust, to do the job right with knowledge on how to do it all, Tom and his crew are the ones to call. If you need assistance in design work, McCane works closely with Annie Miller Designs, who is also outstanding. WOW !!! Great Job and thanks to Tom and his crew !
Very well, was explain of services being preform, Schibi HVAC tech,Mike was so professional, thoroughly clean outside unit, check free on level, maintenance inside unit.left job site clean. Thanks Schibi and teck Mike.AAA+++
Lawn Butlers gave us what we throught was reasonable price. They had scheduled us in rather quickly, since during the summer months we thought it would be a while before we could get someone to do the work. We kept in contact via email. The day that they came, they had come first thing in the morning and by the time I had gotten home they were done. The lawn looked great, no residual effect of any trucks, equipment. Also, the trees had a ton of dry branches, since we tried to do the work ourselves. Lawn Butlers must have rakes most of that debris up, since we were able to mow without having to pick up a bunch of branches. THAT WAS NICE! I would certainly use them again. Rob has great knowledge base and shares his information easily and is open to any questions
"The technician was quite knowledgeable and professional in every way. I was quite pleased with his work. When I order another item from Wayfair, I will definitely request Andrew. "
The price overall seemed like a good price, but shortly after granite was installed, plates were leaving scratch marks. I didn't think granite could be scratched. Not as durable as it seems granite should be. Dropped a glass that shattered and put big chips in the granite. If I had known how easy it was to damage, I would have gone with something else
It went very well, the repairman came out the same day, determined it wasn't worth repairing so returned the next day with a new disposal. I only paid the service fee, they replaced the disposal ($150) plus whatever a normal service call would cost, I am very happy with this service and will continue to keep my warranty in place. Very personable and effective customer service, I would recommend this service
Service man arrived as scheduled. After I explained sympotoms of problem he quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repair. Washing machine works fine now.
When the oven broke, Hi Tech got a technician out with a couple hours to look at things. The tech was unable to fix it within a time frame that Hi Tech felt was fast enough so to make sure I wasn't without an oven they simply ordered me a new one. What more can you ask for? There was no "we need to order parts" or "we need to get another tech out who maybe knows more about this model." None of that. They couldn't fix it on the first trip so let's order a new one, take care of the customer, and the contractor can refurbish the original oven on his own time and do with it as he needs. Every time I've contacted Hi Tech they have moved mountains to make sure I'm taken care of...even in cases where their warranty didn't cover whatever was going on they have helped negotiate lower prices and have helped coordinate routine maintenance. This is a big issue that I think a lot of people take for granted. Hi Tech, like any home warranty company, is NOT responsible for routine maintenance. We as homeowners have to take care of our homes, appliances, water heaters, HVAC systems etc. We can't expect Hi Tech to fix issues that are a result of our own lack of maintenance. We have to do our part and I have been incredibly grateful for Hi Tech's willingness to help coordinate that routine service. When it's time to have my HVAC system looked at, I call Hi Tech and they coordinate a service visit. I pay a preferred rate to the contractor and I know that I'm doing my part under the warranty to ensure that if issues do arise I'm covered. There was one issue that was not covered under the warranty because I had not had my HVAC inspected in over a year. In that case, Hi Tech worked with the contractor to 1. get out to my house IMMEDIATELY to address the major issue 2. work with me and the contractor to ensure I was paying the lowest possible price. I've never had a warranty company advocate for me in this way. Most of the time if something isn't covered you get a "sorry we can't help you" kind of response and that's the end of that. Then we're on our own to find a repairman and deal with whatever comes. Not so with Hi Tech. They are with me every step of the way, on the phone coordinating everything between me and the contractors. Of all the companies out there I have found Hi Tech to be the easiest to deal with, the most straightforward and professional, and who have the nicest, hardworking contractors. They even provide a plan that includes basic issues related to the exterior of the home, another plus that distinguishes them from other companies. Again though, don't expect them to replace your roof for you. That's not what they do but if you're maintaining things and you have a covered issue, there will be no problems in working with Hi Tech to address whatever is going on. If it's not covered, expect them to go the extra mile to make sure you get what you need done by honest people you can trust
It went great!! Jeff did a fabulous high quality job. He came every day until the project was completed. He was very professional and helped us get the wonderful kitchen we wanted. He exceeded our expectations!

What do customers in Cincinnati say about Range Hood Installation?
If you have an impossible job...call Cody. He will figure it out. If Plan A doesn't work, he will think of Plan B. He did what the original installers could not do...hand the range hood on cabinets that were just not built for that purpose. He would not give up until that hood was solidly in place. He had to backbend over the range to get the last screws in. I have already contacted him for other jobs. I highly recommend Cody.
