  Family Leisure installed our inground pool 2 years ago and after the first winter we noticed several ripples in the pool liner. The 2nd summer it turned into bigger bubbles and ripples and the liner looked awful. One call to Corey, in-ground pool supervisor, and he and the manager, Billy Muffler, came out to inspect. They determined that it appeared to be a faulty liner. The liner company would not accept fault, however Mr. Muffler told us that was not the workmanship that Family Leisure represented and they replaced our in-ground liner for FREE! This clearly was not the norm for one of their liners to bubble to this extreme, but they stood behind their quality of work and made it right for our family! Our experience was great and we love our new liner! A huge thank you to both of these men and the company. We would highly recommend Family Leisure for anyone looking to have an in-ground pool installed!!show more

  I contracted with Mud Slingers on March 23, 2021, to build a 16'x32', 6 foot deep concrete swimming pool. From the beginning, it was a nightmare! Brian, the project manager, could never be found. I called and texted him on multiple occasions but could rarely get in touch with him. I had to contact the office to try to find out what was going on. Brian would tell me he'd be at my house at a certain time and rarely did he show up. The pool build was delayed several times and finally the pool was started in early July 2021. Brad was there to get the excavation crew started. He then left the job and told the crew he would be back to check on them. He never came back to make sure the pool was excavated in accordance to the plans and the contract. By the time the rebar was put in and the concrete poured, I then realized that my pool was nowhere near 6 foot deep and it also did not have flat hopper at the deep end as the plans showed. When I brought this to their attention, they said they I didn't ask for a 6 foot deep pool but it's stated in the first sentence of the contract that the pool was to be 6 foot deep. They refused to do anything about it and the owner of the company constantly avoided me. Their work is very sloppy and I had to hire another company to come out and fix all of the issues just to get my pool equipment running properly. I really wish I had done more research before hiring this company. I am in the legal process now trying to hold this company accountableshow more

  Sonseeker came out and plastered my pool and the next day they came out and polished it. While polishing the plaster, chunks of plaster started coming off the walls at one section of the pool. They attempted to patch that area of the pool but the patch was much darker than the rest of the pool finish. Sonseeker told me that they stand by their work and they would fix it. They guaranteed me that once they fixed it, I wouldn't even know that the area was an issue and that it would match. They attempted to patch the area again and it still looks just as bad as it did before. Now they are refusing to fix it after saying they stand by their work. I would definitely not recommend Sonseeker to anyoneshow more

  Kayak pools Midwest built our pool this summer. We paid for the backfill service which was our only complaint. It was delayed and when it was done, it was done by a contractor who had not done this service before and left incomplete (more than the typical settling of dirt which would be expected). We tried working with kayak pools for two months before we disputed the charge for this service. Kayak eventually went above and beyond and gave us the option of having them complete the project or to refund us a portion of the backfill fee as the job had been left incomplete. We decided to take the partial refund as we had already worked on completing the backfill ourselves . Pool is fine and we enjoyed swimming in it but I would recommend doing backfill on your own or getting a reputable landscape companshow more

  I can’t recommend this company enough!!!! They were wonderful to deal with from start to finish and we still use them for opening/closing and chemicals. The girls in the office are amazing! They will all bend over backwards to get you what you need! We had zero problems with them!! They were very responsive to any of our calls, questions and/or requests throughout the whole process and are still awesome to do business with just for maintenance. Ed, Dan, and Ron are extremely professional and care about their customers and their work. Christian and the other office staff are so kind and take the time to genuinely help you with learning how to own a pool! I had so many questions but none of them seemed to mind. We have a family friend who is a general contractor and has been his entire life. He’s actually about to retire… But one of the things he did in the past was install inground pools. He came out almost every day and watched them work from breaking ground to the opening and he was extremely impressed. He said they did top-notch work and it was a solid pool!   We cannot recommend Perma Pools enough! The worked with our landscape designer from the beginning and the grade, elevation and position of the pool was perfect. During the installation Perma Pool employees were professional, diligent and told us all about each step. Since installation we have loved our pool and have had no trouble taking care of the chemical or managing the equipment. We did not grow up with pools and were terrified about owning one. Perma has answered all of our questions promptly and thoroughly making us the happiest pool owners out there.   Installing a pool is a daunting decision. Perma Pools was who we initially thought of (my brother had used them several years previously and highly recommended) but I still checked around and felt Perma Pools was the best choice. So glad we did. One thing that did stand out to me was when we met with Ron to do the selections, it wasn't about selling the latest and greatest option. He showed us all the choices and then made recommendations that he felt would work best for our particular pool, budget, etc. We knew nothing of pool maintenance and his opinion was a huge help in the myriad of choices that we needed to make. Installation went smooth and the communication is very good. Anytime I had a question, someone responded either that day or the next...you are never left hanging. After installation and pool was ready to go, their "Pool School" was invaluable. I don't remember the gentleman's name that came (he's been with Perma forever) but he was a wealth of information and extremely helpful. During the pool school, he noticed a couple things that he felt weren't up to standard and called the office to have those fixed (and they were). 2019 was our first summer having the pool and it's been great. There is nothing about the pool we would change or wish we had done XYZ instead. We totally take advantage of having Perma test our water which has helped us stay ahead of any problems or costly fixes.
