  Our friend that recently finished building their home, recommended us Moses & HomeTech for our home remodel in Palo Alto. We remodeled, reconfigure our 2300sf and added about 400sf . The planning and permitting process took some time but based on what I heard it is very standard for Palo Alto and size of the project . I personally enjoyed the design process and appreciated patience , creativity and suggestions from Moses and his engineer and designer . After we received final approval from the city , things went very smooth and project was completed well before estimated time. We moved out from the house and also spent significant time outside of country but team kept us informed throughout the process. We appreciated transparency and being straight with cost and possible surprises from the beginning. They took house down to the studs and when they finished, it was amazing !   David and his crew did an excellent job of refinishing my existing red oak floors including a new section in a foyer added to the home. The did the sanding, staining including providing 6 samples on the floor and the final finishing.   Henry and his team did a fantastic job, moreover they went above and beyond my expectations. The work was absolutely top notch, as well as his work ethic. He left my apartment with an elegant and modern aesthetic, which is a far cry from what it looked like prior to the partial renovation. Looking at the ceiling, it’s hard to believe that it is in the same building honestly. He thought about every detail; one could see this in the way in which he installed a window in the back of the building with a protective wiring. The ceiling (which he re-did in two rooms) and light are totally flush, clean, and beautiful. (Previous severe water damage). Growing up with contractors in the family, I was taught to appreciate high-quality craftsmanship and recognized his keen eye-for-design and detail right away. In addition, he was extremely professional, reliable and had superb communication skills throughout the duration of the project. When he couldn’t reach me to confirm a material choice or what have you, he made cost-effective, yet, long-lasting product choices that stayed within the realm of what we had discussed. Furthermore, I was very pleased with the level of taste that he exercised on smaller material choices, larger ones and as a whole (which was fundamentally cohesive). Henry clearly knows his craft and delivers on every aspect. From an interpersonal perspective, Henry is also a kind person, nice guy, family man and all around dedicated person. He transformed my old garage from the 1960's into a great looking recreational room that will do wonders for the property. They did solid, quality work on the electrical add-ons, dry wall, and new flooring all for a reasonable price when compared to the competition.   Feliciano did an outstanding job on our home improvement projects! I could not be more pleased!! Feliciano is not only a credit to his profession, he is an extremely humble and professional individual. He carefully listens and assesses your request(s) and offers sound recommendations and input. For example, the steps on our staircase were very badly worn and the wrought iron railing was extremely faded. Feliciano sanded, and stained the stairs with a beautiful finish! And … sanded, repainted the black wrought iron railing! And … installed a wooden black hand rail on the opposite wall! I am beyond thrilled with the final results! Installation of the vinyl flooring in the main living area, kitchen and 1/2 bathroom was a challenge due to uneven foundations. Feliciano was able to use some leveling compound to correct this problem. Our floors look wonderful! He and his team were on time, hard working, accommodating, respectful of our family, our schedules, our home and property and always cleaned up before leaving for the day.   It went well. Everything was done as and when promised. When they saw little things that needed to be done, they either brought it to my attention or if it was minor just fixed it. Some of the "repairs" made were not standard and they figured out how to make it work. They are not a cookie cutter company and give their full attention to each job. And I felt as if, I was the only job they had at the time and that they were not hurrying to finish so they could collect my money and go to the next job. They had me check after each part of the job to see if I was pleased with their work (I was!:-)) and if I had any sort of issue with the project, they made it right. They came out to do the work on the inside of my home when I first moved to Sacramento in November of 2020 and when I was ready for my backyard to be done, I called them again last month to have them complete the vision I had for the yard. They did so and did a great job. Would I hire them again? Absolutely and I did and will again anytime I need anything doneshow more
