- Core LandscapeWe thought we had lost our keys to the mailbox and were referred to J&K Postal works. We called wednesday, someone was out Thursday. The problem is that the old keys were actually just locked within the box. The person who took the time to rekey it could have just given us the lost keys. We would have still paid the service fee. Instead they almost mockingly left the old keys in the box for us. Instead of politely letting us know the keys were in the box, returning them, and charging the service fee. Obviously we have new keys but it seems disingenuous to know the keys were in there and not just return them to us
- Handyman Connection - PhoenixI used this service twice and was very pleased both times, but I don't remember the exact dates. Handyman Connection, as the name implies, supplies a handyman who provides the specific service. My first contact was a plumber for bathroom repairs, and my second contact was a locksmith for my front door. The plumber showed me how to adjust the tank mechanism myself if it happened again. The locksmith quickly identified a subtle problem with the door hinge which solved the problem, it wasn't in the lock; and, he did it so quickly that he had time to tighten some loose hinges on my kitchen cabinets
- Handyman Connection - PhoenixI can't say enough good things about Dave, the handyman who did our work, pleasant, hardworking, knowledgeable. Of course, not everything went as planned. When Dave removed the old sink and faucet, he discovered the leaking valve. No problem, he had one in his truck. However, since the other valve was just as old, we asked him to replace it too. He drove to Home Depot and got one and replaced them both. We were charged only for the part. After Dave carried the old sink out to his truck, he installed the new faucet on the new sink and tried to drop it in. The hole was not standard. Dave went over our choices: have someone recut the granite and he would come back and finish the job or put the old sink back with the new faucet. Since there is nothing wrong with the sink, except that I hate it, he installed the new faucet on it and put it back in the countertop. Next he did a beautiful job caulking the master bath shower. When he was ready to leave, I asked him to look at the front door and tell me if it could fixed by just adjusting the plate or should it be replaced. He said it could be fixed and "would I like him to do it?" I said "Sure" And he did, with no extra charge. We were completely pleased and satisfied with each of the nice people we dealt with at Handyman Connection

"I should have written this review 3 years ago when I first had my two screen doors installed in Apache Junction, AZ! I just recently sold that home & am now looking for another company in New Mexico that is comparable to Steel Shield, but that isn't easy! I sure wish Steel Shield had service in New Mexico! My doors were installed on a manufactured home & Steel Shield was the only company I spoke with that said they could easily install on a manufactured home. "I used KwikPick Lock and Safe about a month ago when I locked myself out of my house. I called Bill and even though he was on another job on the other side of town, he came over and got me back in my house. He tried to salvage my lock after drilling it to save me money but in the end, I bought a new deadbolt and he installed it. And just because he’s nice guy who believes in great customer service, he installed a lock box for me outside to keep a spare key.
