"Tuma did our initial landscaping 30 years ago and it had just aged out and had overgrown a bit. Randy did an extensive new plan in September 2020 to update the layout with more modern plant types. He was very thoughtful in his plan and seriously considered our desires and the unique features of our job. Removing the old plants and trees was a large job and was accomplished quickly and with a minimum of mess and disruption. The entire job was completed within 3 days. Randy visited daily and was very willing to make both minor and major alterations mid-job. He was very meticulous in the placement of the new plants. He was also good at instructing us on how to care for the new plants to assure their proper growth. He also gave a warranty on his plants, although I forget the exact term (1 year?). The price was about what we had guessed, although we were not well versed on landscaping costs. The redone plan makes our house look much newer and is very functional and designed to provide color throughout the season. Tuma did an excellent job 30 years ago, and an even better job this year. I would recommend them highly.show more

"They did a lot of work. They were here from, I would say, 11:30 maybe till 4:00. They are really hard workers. They come and they seem to never stop. They did take a half hour break for lunch but then they go about their business. There is never any fooling around or sitting around. Everybody's always busy. I usually communicate with John Fries, the owner, first and tell him exactly what I want done. When the guys get here I just refresh their memory. They ask like which bushes do you want removed and that kind of thing. I think they do a really good job. I was surprised because I know what other people spend just to have their yard mulched. I thought they did a lot of work here just replanting those plants - there were a lot of them. They had bushel barrels that they were putting the plants in and taking them to the back yard and replanting them. We had provided the mulch. We had gotten the mulch because it was on sale and we didn't know if they would be able to fit us in to their schedule this year. When he contacted us we told him we had already bought it. He agreed to spread that. I think next year if we get him we will just let him bring the mulch. He is very amiable and will do what you want him to do. They are weather dependent but they are there when they say they will be. We have been having a lot of rain so for the nature of their business I think they do the best they can do. show more

"After replacing the plumbing in our home, large sections of walls and ceilings which were opened to access the plumbing needed to be repaired. After receiving several quotes from various contractors, we decided to work with Chris Dallaba and Sweet Success Contractors. Chris arrived at the scheduled time and prepared a detailed estimate for the work. He also explained, with good detail, his company's emphasis on quality, which was most important to us. I explained to Chris our expectation was, after completion, that our home would look like the plumbing replacement never happened. The crew from Sweet Success Contractors arrived promptly each day and worked quickly and efficiently. They took great care to cover floors and furniture in the areas they were working and throughout the areas of our home where they were travelling. Communication throughout the duration of the project (3 days) was very good, and Chris stopped by each day to check on the progress and let us know the next steps. The project is now complete and WE ARE EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS. Our home really does look like the plumbing replacement never happened. The after-project cleanup was thorough and the final bill was exactly what we were quoted. Chris Dallaba and Sweet Success Contractors met all of our expectations and we will definitely consider them for future projects in our home.show more
