There was no response to my Emial request for a quote and I had to call their office a couple times to get someone out to review the work needed and get a quote. On the day they completed the repairs they arrived at the house unannounced, allowing me no prep time or to schedule time off work to be there should they have needed access to the inside of the sunroom. I came home from work for lunch and found them on the job. Fortunately, all the work was completed outside and they didn't need access to the house. - Advantage RoofingThis was a big investment for us so we solicited several quotes. We went with Advantage for a couple of reasons. While they weren't the lowest bid, we felt they offered much more for the extra dollars spent (including the lifetime workmanship guarantee). And, they were very professional starting with the quotation process. The quotation listed everything they would be doing. None of the other quotes that we received were as detailed. The quotation packet also included liability insurance information and warranty information, as well as manufacturer guarantees and information on shingles. We didn't have to ask for anything, so this gave us a level of confidence that they could handle the job. We have a very difficult and dangerously steep roof, so we were concerned about the safety aspect. I'm happy to report that this professionalism continued throughout the process all the way to the final inspection by the owner himself. They did an excellent job. We were really impressed with the work crew and how efficiently they went about their work. We were most impressed that, at the end of the day, you couldn't tell that anything was going on...they were that good at "end of the day" cleanup. We appreciated that Tim routinely reported to us what they were doing so that we felt informed and part of the process. I would highly recommend Advantage to anyone in need of a new roof. One more comment. Our skylights were very old and an unusual size. They did a great job of installing the new skylights and finishing them off so they look great both inside and outside. This was really important to me since we recently renovated the inside of the house and I wasn't looking forward to having the inside of the house in turmoil again. Great job

We requested additions; eg: replace one skylight and repair chimney crown. We were told we would have the estimate the very next day bu email. We received the email and were very pleased with the quote. We chose Advantage Roofing out of three estimates we had received. They arrived as scheduled and preformed the work as requested in 2 1/2 days. The roofers cleaned up each day before they left, which was appreciated. Their supervisor arrived the next day to inspect the work, install a zipper boot around our electric pole (attached to our roof) and repair the chimney crown as requested. We received a call from their customer service the same day to schedule a review and to transfer payment. Our experience was positive from start to finish and we would highly recommend Advantage Roofing to family and friends

"We hired Van Martin Roofing to reroof our 3000 sq ft (approx) in March 2013. Last week, we had my wife's bathroom extensively remodeled--to include installing a new vent fan. When the workers were venting the fan to the roof outlet, they noticed substantial wetness in the attic insulation. When they tore out the existing soffit over the tub/shower area, they found about two gallons of water suspended in plastic sheathing (which they pumped out). I immediately called Van Martin (3/29/21)--as we have a 10-year warranty on labor and a 50-year warranty on the shingles. The lady I spoke with (Cheryl) was very friendly and professional. She verified my warranty information and said their scheduler (Stephanie) would contact me soon to schedule repairs. Stephanie called me on Monday (4/5/21) and said their techs would be out on Tuesday between 12:00 and 1:30PM. She called again Tuesday morning to say, due to a schedule change, the techs could be there a couple hours earlier. The techs (Gene and Scott) arrived about 10:30AM and I explained the situation to them. They inspected the roof (and attic area) and found several "nail pops" where some of the shingles had risen up. They also found that a collar on one of the vent stack pipes had separated from the roof. All probably due to freezing/thawing over the years. They made the necessary repairs and went on their way. They were also very professional and friendly--answering all my questions and explaining what they'd found during their inspection. All in all, it was a great customer service experience. No hassles, prompt scheduling, thorough repairs. Easy peasy!

"Tom was extremely responsive, very kind and talked us through the whole process. His crew were very nice and respectful and they worked hard all day long. Weather delays put us a bit behind but the job was done carefully and correctly and looks incredible. No more leaks and it’s like we got a new house! My only disappointment is tiny and that’s that due to the rain our back deck got a bit muddy and was left in this state- it’s only accessible from the inside so I didn’t really expect them to clean it but one of the workers had mentioned wanting to do so but it didn’t happen. This is me nitpicking on the smallest level. I would 100% recommend Tom to do any exterior project and if we ever end up installing skylights he will be our first call.

"I called and got a person on the phone, no prompts. Sent Jeremy out with a short time frame. Jeremy was super personable and gave us a fair quote.
