THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO INSTALL GUTTERS AND GUTTER GUARDS ALL AROUND THE HOUSE. MY HUSBAND WALKED AROUND THE PERIMETER OF THE HOUSE WITH THEM AND THEY TOLD HIM THAT THEY INSTALLED ALL OF THE GUTTERS AND THE GUTTER GUARDS. HE WAS ON THE GROUND, SO HE WAS TRUSTING THEM BECAUSE YOU CAN'T SEE THE GUTTER GUARDS FROM THE GROUND. AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS, WE NOTICED LEAVES ACCUMULATING ON THE GUTTERS AND WONDERED WHY IF THE GUTTER GUARDS REALLY WORKED. WE LOOKED AND FOUND THAT THEY DID NOT INSTALL GUTTER GUARDS ANYWHERE, ONLY THE GUTTERS. I CALLED TO COMPLAIN AND HE SAID HE WOULD ORDER THEM. HE HAS TOLD US MANY TIMES THAT HE WOULD BE OUT TO INSTALL THE GUTTER GUARDS, BUT HE HAS MISSED SEVERAL APPOINTMENTS AND HAS NOT COMPLETED THE JOB. HE KEEPS GIVING EXCUSES AND HAS NOT COMPLETED THE JOB

This was not a deal becauce they only charge $5 per window to clean, it should have only been $100 and I paid $139 thinking that it was a deal. The coupon claims that it is a 60% savings. Their gutter guard coupon also miss represents the savings.

Mr. Rick Newman, the Project Manager/Sales of Stonebridge Construction, LLC, handled our whole project, from the initial meeting and providing an appraisal, to the end where he did a final inspection himself. The crew provided were top-notch, polite and picked up each night. There was no playing of loud music as they worked. The attention to detail was most noticeable and appreciated. Mr. Newman was available by phone at all times and visited the site at least three times a day. There were no cost overruns and the project was completed as stipulated and on time. Your Last Gutter Guard / Roofs Made Easy came out for an estimate. They did not charge me for coming out. Everything went well. They are a little to expensive for what I needed. They were very knowledgeable and professional. The price was reasonable. It is just for more than what I needed. I would use them for something else

Pretty good -- only (minor) complaint was that we had existing plastic gutter guards over the gutters to block large branches. He took them off, but did not replace them onto the gutter

It was the same company, but different people came out. One group cleaned the gutters and then somebody else came and put in gutter guards, which is like a wiring on top of the gutters so stuff wouldn't fall in anymore. There are pine trees here and the needles get stuck in the gutters, but they're not clogging up the downpours anymore. They were quick, very agreeable, very pleasant people

Our rain gutters were originally installed incorrectly by another company in 2007. We tried the phone book and Google looking for local vendors to find a solution to our problem with no luck. Through Angie's List we found JR Rain Gutters, left a voice message and were contacted within a day. Jose looked at the problem (water backing up into a corner and overflowing) and taking all the obstacles into consideration (open pathway that could not be blocked, no obvious place to attach a downspout) he came up with a simple and extremely effective solution within minutes. Jose came back next day with his son, installed the new piece that lets the water drain and keeps the pathway unobstructed. They also cleaned the gutters. The work was completed in a timely manner and they left everything clean. We couldn't be happier with the service and the cost was very reasonable. We will call him again if we decide to have our gutter guards re-installed. The guards were incorrectly installed by original vendor so we removed them. Again Jose has a simple and effective solution as to why the gutter guards were not working as they should. 5 Stars. Hire this man

Overall I really enjoyed working with this company. Phone calls to their office were friendly and professional. Guy was on time for our appointment to bid the job. He was really nice and offered good suggestions. He did break into a "we're better then the other guys" sales pitch which didn't win me over but his attention to detail, good suggestions, his listening to what we wanted and the fact that they were recommended by our roofers who we liked had more than won him the job. Once we agreed to do the work, they arranged an appointment that fit our schedule and on the work day a great crew showed up on time, walked the job then set out to do it. They even did a couple additional things, like replacing a damaged downspout and cleaning out an extra gutter segment with no additional cost. Great job protecting our paint and deck

I sourced three quotes for gutters for my home, in prep for what appears to be a year ahead filled with rain (we can hope, anyway). These were not replacement gutters, it was an all-new job with some peculiar roof angles and large overhangs that made it somewhat atypical. We also have a modern home and aesthetic and did not want standard style gutters. Guy, the owner, was the one who came for the estimate. I am always so impressed by business owners who do some of the work themselves (he's not sitting behind a desk all day), and have an unusually large amount of enthusiasm for their business. I mean, who can get excited about gutters? I'll tell you. Guy Ziv DOES get excited about gutters. It's clear from the moment you meet him, he's a different type of business owner. In the end, I felt he understood what we needed better than the two other companies. He immediately quoted a flat-faced gutter plus rain chains. We can remove the rain chains when they're not needed, thereby eliminating ugly downspouts almost entirely. His office staff were so excellent, Barbara in particular. There were some last-minute changes on the day of the installation that resulted in less material being used, and the job foreman could be overheard on the phone revising the quote to reflect a credit for the unused material. Other contractors would have just overlooked it and pocketed the difference, but I could tell they were eager to do the right thing (without being asked). Guy was not the cheapest of the bids. In fact, he was the most expensive (substantially more than the lowest bid, just slightly more than the middle bid). But one thing I've learned with home improvement - many things cannot be undone, and you want them done right by people who know what they are doing. Plumbing. Electrical. Painting. Gutters. I had the confidence that he and his crew would do it right, and they did. I was very pleased with the outcome. I believe it overall improved the appeal of the house and gives the roof a nice clean edge. Most important, if the promised floods, locusts and frogs arrive this winter, we'll be protected from major flooding around the house. I would gladly hire this company again, and would absolutely refer them to others. Even though they are more expensive, you do get what you pay for in the end

August Roofing was great! They responded promptly and courteously to our calls, showed up on time, answered our questions, and offered what seemed like a fair deal. (We gave a "B" for price because it was an expensive job, though we think the price was fair for the service we received.) They worked their hearts out on top of our house during a heat wave (114 degrees at one point!), carefully removing and replacing our solar array in order to complete the job. Though it was a super messy job, they left our yard cleaner than they'd found it. All the guys were extremely professional, and just really nice. We now have a beautiful new roof. Our awful experiences with our new +$40,000 Patio Cover Patios by B&B just became worse (see their review) when the gutter their sub-contractor installed (Above & Beyond Rain Gutters) overflowed like a waterfall not only onto our so-called “rain proof” patio, but also falling on our outdoor electrical, timer, etc. against our bedroom wall We contacted Jordan, Paul’s son who is active with the Company. Paul refused to pay to fix the gutter UNLESS we agreed to remove our review and never mention our experiences with Patios by B&B again, “under threat of libel.” We were so shocked and upset at his refusal to pay unless we met those conditions that we said that was unreasonable to refuse to fix such a major problem without any conditions. So we had to start over finding a new “gutter guy.” It was SO refreshing and wonderful to find Patrick, owner of Bresnahan Rain Gutter Cleaning, who handled almost every single step of our transaction PERFECTLY! 1) On Thursday, Patrick answered our call in person immediately; 2) He came over that same morning to give us an estimate. When he reviewed the situation, he showed us WHY the rain was overflowing the previously installed gutter. THE PREVIOUS GUTTER was INSTALLED IMPROPERLY! When we looked at our roof and gutter, it was immediately clear that Patrick was right and Above and Beyond Rain Gutters had installed the gutter exactly following our roof line (which, like many other houses, is NOT LEVEL)! So, instead of the water flowing AWAY from the house to the downspout, the gutter slanted so the water flowed into the corner near our bedroom!. So THAT was one of the main reasons we were flooded with water in the wrong area. 3) Patrick first offered a less expensive “fix” for the problem (to install a second downspout in the overflow area). We appreciated his considering our expenses, but told him we needed to try and get the previously promised “rain proofed patio” actually rainproof. 4) Patrick then said he could replace the gutter not only with a larger size but, most importantly, one that would be ANGLED so ALL the water would flow AWAY from the house into the downspout the way it was supposed to. THAT is what we wanted. 5) Patrick and his great crew CAME OUT the NEXT MORNING (within 24 hours after our first call contact) and not only installed the gutter EXACTLY the way he described (with the CLEAR angle to the right direction), but ALSO added a small “re-director’ close to the roof that will send some of the excess water that the two roofs combining created near our bedroom away from that one vulnerable corner

Daryl was able to come out and give me an estimate within about five days of my initial call. He was able to start a few days later. Daryl, Randy and Francisco arrived in the early afternoon to clean the rain gutters and install the gutter guards. Daryl gave instructions to Randy and Francisco and then left for another job. He told me he would probably have to return the next day to finish the repair of the support beam on the patio. Randy and Francisco finished the gutter work by the end of the day, however they didn't have time to repair the support beam on the patio. Randy scraped out some of the rotted wood and left it to dry so that Daryl could finish it the next day. Unfortunately, Daryl was not able to return the next day so the project started to become delayed. When he did return a few days later he found he had to remove more rotted wood and allow more drying time. With a combination of a couple of rainy days and conflicts with a bigger project he was working on, he wasn't able to get back to the project for several more days. When he and Randy did return late in the afternoon they discovered they still needed to remove more rotted wood and allow more drying time. By this time the Christmas holiday was an interruption. He was not able to return between Christmas and New Year but I used the time to thoroughly spray the affected area with termite poison. Finally on Jan. 4th Francisco arrived to finish the job. His work was extremely careful and professional. He explained to me how he would do the job and reiterated that his work would not be "Mickey Mouse." He took extra care to finish the ends of the beams with redwood and cut and sand so it looked like original construction. He sprayed additional termite poison into areas he recut, and he carefully painted the repaired surface twice. Francisco's attitude and work was excellent in every regard. The project took about 3 weeks from start to finish

The other competing gutter guard looks like it works fine in light rain but I believe the water would just fly off the roof during a heavy rain. Original contact was with Danielle (this woman is fantastic to work with). She set up an appointment to meet with Brian several days later. Brian showed up on time and we discussed what I wanted done. He answered a ton of questions and promised me a bid by the next day. Sure enough, a bid was emailed to me the following morning. I replied to his email with questions I had about the bid and a request for locations of prior completed work with the same color shingle product I requested. The following day, Brian satisfactorily answered my questions, included a revised proposal, and provided addresses for four local houses with a Malarkey Legacy Class 4 shingle in the Heather color. After observing one of these houses, I agreed to the new proposal. The roofing crew was punctual and easy to work with. The re-roofing took a bit longer than I was originally told but not so much that it was upsetting. The new gutter/gutter guards, and downspout installation was started several days after the roofing was completed. Again, this crew was easy to work with. A week later, exterior painting of the house and gutters was started by another company. A slight accident occurred and damaged part of a gutter. The paint company agreed to cover the cost of repair. I contacted Danielle (did I mention she is great to work with) and explained the situation. She was able to get the gutter crew back to fix the gutter within several days after the painting was finished. I am very happy to have chosen Brian Pierce Roofing for the work I needed done. I would recommend them for your roofing needs
