- Carlisle Classic HomesWe engaged Carlisle for an extensive whole home remodel in Edmonds and couldn't have been more pleased with the entire process and of course the outcome. All of their team was professional, organized, and all work they did was incredibly high quality. Perhaps as importantly all of these great qualities extended to the trades that Carlisle hired as well. Anytime we ran into unexpected issues (as is common in remodels), I found that I could count on Carlisle's team to be one step ahead in identifying mitigations or in some cases already working on fixes. - Excel General Contractor, LLCWe hired Pete initially to help with a couple of re-modeling projects at home, including (but not limited to) adding an extra room upstairs. However, we discovered water damage few months prior to the project's planned start date. Pete helped us gain clarity on the rebuild efforts that would follow soon after the water mitigation would complete, worked closely with the insurance adjusters and was always responsive during the planning phases of the process. His crew members were very professional, friendly and always worked with us closely to meet our design needs. For the complexity of the project, Pete and his team did a great job in projecting reasonable timelines and setting expectations. I have only great things to say about the quality of the workmanship of his team. Overall, we would recommend Pete for home renovation/repair efforts
- Johnson and Sons ConstructionJohnson & Sons remodeled our 1990's kitchen and replaced all of the flooring on the first floor and staircase of our home during the months of May - August of 2022. We met with multiple local companies to bid the work and Vic's bid came in under or comparable to the other estimates we received. We chose their company based on referral, price, and comfort level with Vic. Vic is fantastic to work with. He is knowledgeable, responsive, and creates a culture of partnership on his team's projects. This was our first time tackling a renovation project of this scope and using a general contractor. Vic and his team made the experience comfortable and as enjoyable as it could be considering we had no kitchen! :) There was a long wait time to get the project started due to Covid-caused supply issues on Johnson and Sons other jobs (we originally met with Vic in June of 2021 and the work did not start until May of 2022). It was hard to be patient, but it actually worked in our favor. Being able to choose and purchase materials in advance meant no supply issues or back orders once our project got started. Every sub that Vic and Jon used on our job or vendor he referred us to was professional, kind, and did a great job. If we ever had a question about quality or how the job was progressing (and we had a lot -- remember we'd never done this before!) Vic was patient, flexible, and worked with us until we were satisfied. As our job progressed, issues within our home were uncovered that were not in the scope of work included in our kitchen remodel. A water leak was found in an adjacent wall when kitchen drywall was removed, and holes in our roof were discovered when the electrician was in the attic running conduit. Even though these setbacks were not part of our kitchen remodel, Vic's guys jumped in and found solutions or recommended sub contractors to solve problems. There were multiple times that we had questions and within minutes either Vic or Jon were on site to address a concern or answer a question-- even after our job was complete. We could not be more excited about our new kitchen or pleased with our choice of contractor. We are already planning to hire Johnson and Sons again to renovate our primary bathroom
- Bul Pro Painting llcI highly recommend Illian from Bul Pro Painting for all your painting needs. We could never thank Illian enough for all the help he gave us in getting our house ready to sell. Illian painted the exterior of our home including garage and front doors. He replaced and repaired siding, and framed in windows. Illian meticulously painted our kitchen cabinets, painted and installed new six panel doors with new trim around doors and windows. And just weeks before our house went on to market he repainted our ceiling. Our house went from rehab to move-in ready. Illian is professional and offers reasonable rates. We can’t recommend Illian enough. He does great work!
- Green City Window & DoorI’ve worked with a lot of contractors in the six homes that I’ve owned and sold over the years, Green City is one of the best. installed all new windows (every single window in the house) and three new doors, including a conversion from regular picture windows to a full 4 panel slider, and they are perfect. Price was on point with other bids, but knowledge and quality of products couldn’t be beat. John (owner) is a perfectionist and I love it! Highly recommend. That said, I’ve got to call a bit of “bologna” on some of these one star reviews. Not questioning people’s experiences..just expectations. And I’ll end it by simply saying, in our case they were exceeded
- Padilla ConstructionBeing new to Yelm, I reluctantly hired Padilla Construction to remodel my bathroom and build a second master bath. Right away I was really impressed with the personal service that Dave provided. Every step of the project was reviewed with me and he went out of his way to make sure he was doing what I envisioned. All the workers that he had working on my project were totally awesome and they have become like friends to the family. The showers and floors were custom tile and the quality was excellent. It now feels like we are walking into a five star hotel bathroom. I have already had Dave and crew do additional work and they are coming back again when we are ready for our next project

"This was the second time I hired LeBron Castleberry. Previously he re-built my balcony and replaced some windows and window frames. As before, I needed quality carpentry because of what living in the Pacific Northwest does to outdoor wooden structures. LeBron is honest, fair and a good communicator. I knew I could completely trust him to do a top notch job, and I was not disappointed. His trained associate, Micah, did the work, but it was under LeBron's direction and definitely up to his standards. I like that LeBron charges time and materials, as opposed to giving a quote and then perhaps needing to cut corners to still have the job work out for him financially. "When the tech came to install on Oct. 9, it turned out that the wrong size door had been ordered. So he left and our installation date moved to Nov. 18. Vasiliy came and did a good job installing the new garage door. The only beef I have is that the sales rep, Mike, did the math wrong on our sales contract. He missed adding the door opener so the overall quote was $400 less than it should have been. Learning experience for me: check the math! Argh!
