"Evergreen Contractors was one of several companies I contacted to replace the roof of my three-story townhouse. I had a really good vibe talking to Chris, who came to give me an estimate. He provided a number of references, including a neighbor a few doors down from me. He also pointed out the advantages of upgrading the shingles for not much more money, and showed me where neighbors had done that. When installing, which took about 8 hours start to finish, the work team paid attention to detail including what the edges of the roof looked like from the ground. They also thoroughly cleaned up the debris. I was really impressed. That plus a steady rain the day after, and no problems. I’m really pleased with the work, the price for what they provided, and how nice the roof looks now."

"I had a Provia door from my house going in the garage installed. They offered the lowest price and the quickest delivery time amid the pandemic backlogs. The installation was odd, with the door threshold wider than the original one. The door was protruding to the outside; I asked them to install a piece of wood in the base because, otherwise, that protrusion was going to be a tripping hazard, as the door was at the end of two steps. Later on, I found issues with gaps in the door, but they promptly came to fix them. Apart from those hiccups, I am happy with this company. "

"Nations Choice is a top notch company. I hired them to replace my roof and they did a superb job from beginning to end. The whole process went smoothly with no glitches. The crew was superb, real experts. The craftsmanship is of high quality. They finished installation the same day and left the site clean."

"Very good experience in dealing with Creative Energy. They gave an excellent price to begin with so I didn't have to negotiate pricing and they also provided helpful insight in drawing up an excellent design. Work was meticulous, they cleaned up well after completing the project. The only issue I had was the project extended well into 3 months, wish it could have completed sooner so that I could have enjoyed the deck that summer it was built. Other than that I would definitely recommend then for any future projects. "

"I was very pleased with the work An Construction did on our bathroom. Han was very easy to work with and did a professional job. They cleaned up after themselves each day (except the tile guys were a little messy), were friendly and kept their appointments (again, except the tile guys). I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting similar work performed. "

Wood is a natural and typically durable siding material common particularly on cottages, bungalows, and Cape Cod homes. Often referred to as cladding, it is typically made from redwood or cedar, although other wood can be used like cypress and oak. Engineered wood siding is also a popular choice.
Wood siding comes in a variety of styles including:
While wood siding is fairly durable, it can scratch. When it needs to be replaced, typically an entire section needs to be redone to maintain appearances and strength. Wood siding also requires quite a bit of maintenance including resealing and treating to resist fire and insects.
Whether you need your wood siding installed, repaired, or replaced, it's best to leave the job to the pros. Enter your zip code and let HomeAdvisor connect you with wood siding contractors near you.
